I have called this place for a couple of days no one never answer the phone and today they pick up the phone and hang up this has happen 3 times back to back they answer say nothing then hang up I would love for someone higher up to reach out to me to help me understand why this is happening

I was in a domestic violence situation. I WAS NOT leaving my 2 pups. All I had was the clothes on my back, no where to go and no money for food for us. I was turned away bc of my pups. We slept on a mattress that smelled of urine and stale sweat in an alley for days. They didn't make any offer of food for us. My pups are God's creatures too! Hippocrits!

I was dropped off here after being discharged from the hospital. The ride has already left. I have no money, and no place to stay. They turned me away at the door, saying she told the hospital no beds were available. Is this common practice for a charitable organization, to do this to someone that survived suicide? To leave them on the street?
