Lake End Park is a beautiful and wonderful park that is well maintained. It is a great place for fishing, including for Gar and Alligator Gar. The park offers a boat launch dock, an RV park area, and a marina to watch boaters. It is a nice, comfortable place to relax and enjoy the beauty, with plenty of Live Oaks filled with Spanish moss for a dreamy appearance. The sunrises are incredible, and it is a good place for birding, watching squirrels, and seeing animals. The staff is wonderful and does a good job keeping the main area clean. There is a park fee for entry. Visitors love camping there for short stays. The separate long-term RV area has been noted as less maintained. It is described as a beautiful place to bring family and friends for a BBQ or to enjoy nature.
