Idk what it is about saying fried pickles that sounds like dirty rice but this is the second time this has happened to me and it getting old. Repeat the order or something if you aren't sure.

We visit when we can considering it’s about an hour & 12 minute drive for us . The chicken today was very salty , the rice had lots of juice in it (not normally like that) so it’s flavor watered down like - but overall still was good I ate my roll of course & my husband had the shrimp plate -

The fried chicken is really delicious. Juicy, big, well seasoned pieces. The rice dressing was moist without being wet and tasted fresh and seasoned. Highly recommended.

I live in Georgia and a friend of mine has been telling me how good the fried chicken is here. So as soon as I made it to Louisiana, I made my way here and it was great! Great Food and Great Service!

Not what you think at all. Surprisingly amazing fried chicken. When I first pulled in the parking lot I thought, "This can't be the place?" To my surprise I walk in and see tables of folks with happy greasy faces. Not lying. I got my order and quickly became one of those happy greasy faces. Superb fried chicken, great side. Even better rolls or pistons. Pack some honey in your pocket for them. When I say best in the area, I do mean all of Washington Parish & St Tammany. Check this place out! It will end up in heavy rotation for sure. For the side the red beans and slaw always gets my attention.

Chicken and coleslaw everything is awesome but the rice needs something. Overall I drove 45 mins one-way just cause I had a taste for something good.
