Heaven on Earth! My new favorite place to be. Best weekend ever! I seriously want to move. The Host and Hostess are beyond superb down to every last detail. One bite of the French Toast made me want to cry it was so delicious. I considered asking for a doggie bag. This B&B should be in the top 10 from the list of 100 places you must go before you die.

The location was perfect, just a few blocks off of the historic district, the fort and other sites, in all directions. Plus being right off of the river for a relaxing view at the end of the day. The food was a work of art and the hosts we're amazing as well. We will return as often as possible!!

Jefferson House is such an inviting place to staying in Natchitoches, La. Their owners, Lisa and Greg are a sweet heart couple that welcome you with love and attention. This Bed and Breakfast is super clean, beautiful with great real nice garden and back yard on the river. My husband and I had visit other bed and breakfast in town but never slept so well like here at The Jefferson House. What we really love about this place is that they are the only one that accept small breeds. We also enjoy their dog named "booboo", he's such a cutie ?. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. you have a really beautiful house. We will come back to The Jefferson House for sure ❣️

Greg and Lisa are wonderful hosts. My boyfriend and I stayed there for a weekend and enjoyed our time at this lovely B&B. They were both so accommodating and make great conversation. They also provide information about Natchitoches and fun things to do in the area.I highly recommend staying here.

The outdoor gardens at the Jefferson House are the most relaxing place to be! And they've just added a lake-front-terrace.

We had a wedding to attend just west of town and most of the other guests opted to stay out by the interstate. We wanted something downtown to stroll around and check it out and we made a great decision in picking the Jefferson House and a place near the river. Greg and Lisa are outstanding hosts / owners. Extremely personable and awesome in the kitchen, our two breakfasts were outstanding. Another challenge we had was finding a place in Natchitoches that takes pets, surprisingly it was very few. As far as we can tell JH was the only B&B that allowed them and for the hotels that did, their ratings were pretty low. So if you have a pet joining you, book early. And the fee was very reasonable and a one-time charge, not daily, which is always nice. Our first night we walked just out back with the dog and sat on the river with a drink and enjoyed the afternoon. We are going back and this is the place we will stay. Greg told us all about the tour of homes in the fall, for which he is one of the guides and seems quite knowledgeable. Both Lisa and Greg were vary informative on where to go, what to eat, and what to see... as noted, just excellent hosts.

The absolute best! Greg and Lisa have captured every detail of hospitality and raised the bar. I felt right at home. Ms. Lisa's Swedish Pancakes stuffed with homemade fig, peach perserves is to die for. I slept like a baby in the big king bed. The Jefferson House is such a sweet treat. Don't miss it!
