Went to eat there for lunch. They had one large table and we were a party of six. So they told us they could not serve us. Apparently, they could not put two four top tables together. They way they acted, seemed like they did not want to serve us.

We visited Mayeaux's yesterday after visiting the alligator park. We went in the middle of the afternoon so there was immediate seating. The service was prompt, the food was amazing and everything was as promised. I can say that if we are ever in the area, we would go back.

WAY too overpriced! 7 tiny shrimp on the most lousy fried shrimp poboy I've ever eaten. Onion rings were giant leather belts..fried in some pretty good batter though. Boyfriend's squash casserole was good..that's about it.

Super nice staff. The 80's music was a nice change. But let's talk about those fried shrimp!! They were the best I have had in years! Very nice size, and seasoned nicely. They were cooked PERFECTLY!! So moist and tender! Obviously very fresh. No fishy taste at all. The onion rings are seasoned and cooked perfectly also. The French bread and butter was a nice start. The meat pies were good and the dipping sauce was flavorsome. The view outside is fantastic. Would definitely recommend!!

Great atmosphere. Easy street parking outside the restaurant. Beautiful views. As you enter the sign on the hostess station lets you know if you are in a hurry this may not be the place for you. In our case the service was quick and amazing. The Blackened Gator was delicious. The Mahi Mahi was very flavorful. The broccoli cheese casserole is a little on the spicy side. All around a great place to stop for lunch or dinner!

I was with a party of 11, we were treated very professionally and seated after a fifteen minute wait, all together. it was on a Friday evening. A few had drinks with their dinner. Everything was delicious. I would recommend a visit to this restaurant and I would return.

I had catfish acadiana. Grilled fish in a bed of rice smothered in crawfish etouffee. That was really tasty.

The food was expensive and...meh. the service was ok...just. The vibe was...missing. I guess I just had one of those nights, but on a cold Friday night, I hoped the place would be great and the food would be as good as the reviews.I had a cup of the crawfish etouffee, because I was cold. Unfortunately, it wasn't that hot and the salt did not hide the underlying blandness. I followed up with an order of fettuccine Alfredo (can you spot a need for warm comfort food, here?) but I got overcooked spaghetti in a white sauce, with very little detectable cheese. Oh and two thin slices of baguette dripping with sunflower or corn oil and not properly fried off. At $18.95 a plate I expected a *lot* better. My daughter had the gumbo, which was "ok" and the meat pies which made her feel ill. Our guest was a picky eater and had the tenders which she didn't finish because they weren't - tender, that is. Our server wasn't actually rude.I won't be coming back
