Locations perfect , but they offer you free water on the first day make it sound so pretty and amazing so that they can help you forget about the thing walls and loud people around your rooms yeah you get free water but don’t stay here for more than two days. They forget to tell you that , after that ….. lmao you’re on your own .
They can’t afford a 24 pack of water so , they’re gonna make it sound all pretty when you get here but then , you’re on your own . Sorry we ran out of waters
It’s honestly a very old hotel needs a a bunch of new EVERYTHING THE’re phone won’t even call room service 🤣it’s a joke go somewhere else stay on the east side I bet it’ll be WAYbetter than this off $give your friends and family better they deserve it , we all do

I booked a “Larger Guest Room - City View” for 4 nights at the cost of $1274. I am a gold elite member and I received the email for me to check-in online which it allowed me to check-in at 8:00am. Therefore, I decided to arrive to the city early in the morning.
When I arrived at 8:00am, the reception staff informed me that the room was not ready yet and that I would receive a message on my phone when it become available. Luckily I have friends in the city who I could spend the time with during the day. I made sure I gave enough time for them to get the room ready. When I returned to the hotel at 7:00pm, the room was still unavailable!!
Stanley, a staff member at the reception desk, wasn’t helpful at all or willing to work on solutions, he even drooled on to my passport. While he offered me a complementary drink at the bar, all I wanted after the long day was to take a shower and rest… Ultimately, he assigned me to a smaller room for the night. This is not what I paid!
I’ve stayed in Marriott hotels many times and I have even stayed at this AC Hotel New Orleans before; however, this experience and the guest costumer service has been exceptionally disappointing. The customer service has been poor, no one has taken responsibility for these issues, and yet I was still charged the full $1,274 for 4 nights despite not receiving the room I booked!!

I am sorry to have to write this. We are currently staying at the Marriott AC in New Orleans. One of the Worst experience we have ever had at a Marriott
Property. We pulled up, valet walks over, asks if we are staying here. Doesn’t help with luggage at all, we pulled it all out of the car into the street, we asked for a cart! He did get it for us, stood there and watched us load it and try to get it up over the curb and in the door. Oh well! The front desk had 5 people standing around and someone finally came over to check us in, room not ready…ok, no problem. Requested ahead of time on line and at the desk that we needed 2 extra pillows, my husband has a DVT and has to elevate his leg, didn’t show up, I called the desk 4 times, no answer. Finally, went to desk again the next day. Cleaning staff finally brought them, but did not clean. We asked for cleaning and or clean towels for today, called desk 3 times.. no one answered, went down, person standing at desk doing
,nothing and informed me we don’t get cleaned till after night 3, why didn’t they tell us that……now the restaurant staff on our first night was horrible, won’t look at you, answer you, barely waited on you!
This is a NO service hotel….its such a shame that hotels have gotten to this.
Charge you a fortune and you get nothing.
No one should stay here until they get their act together. I don’t expect
Ritz service or anything like that! But, a smile, hello would go a long ways!
We are the reason that they have jobs, they shouldn’t treat us like garbage.

We stopped here to sleep on our cross-country trip. It was right in the heart of the city and was walking distance to everything. This was an older but really nice place to stay.

Could be great, but this property is just run down. I wouldn't pay extra to stay here unfortunately.

Was running late for a prepaid reservation....already charge!! Called to ensure reservation wouldn't be effected. Was transferred overseas of course...after long hold told to a person and he ensures me it will be alright and he would put it in the folio I would be a late checkin.
We arrive....door locked...polite police officer let's me in....as I waking up the agent says we don't have nothing for u...I said it's prepaid and we called in advance. She said I sold that room no one told me you was comjng.. I said it's prepaid and already charged?? She said I sold it. I called but u don't have a direct line. She said your room is already sold. There is nothing here for you. I said so I have a prepaid room and you sold it....how does that happen. Her reply..Noone said you was coming so I sold it. I asked about having my payment canceled and she said that has nothing to do with me...call Marriott to get your money!
I'm a Gold Bonvoy member for years....how is this a Marriott property???

Spent a few nights at this hotel for business and the staff was very nice and accommodating-always greeting you with a smile!
The room its self: bathroom door wasn't working, our toilet had to be fixed and one day we had a cold shower (this did get resolved) the air felt quite stale and smelt faintly of chlorine.
We had breakfast included in our stay but I wouldn't have paid for it if it was an extra fee. The coffee was quite good for hotel standards, the food was acceptable but not worth $$

Rooms: Simple and clean
Walkability: Excellent access to Bourbon Street. Need an Uber for most other destinations.

Gotta fix the lighting color temperature in the lobby office and bar area. The place feels like a drugstore in a horror film. Warm it up a bit. Otherwise, no complaints.

I love this place. Not far from the places you want to see. The area surrounding the Hotel is the only concern I had, it's a bit sketchy. We had no problems but I would suggest you always stay alert when coming and going from the Hotel if you're on foot.

The room we ended up with wasn't the room on the website, but that could have been an oversight with the booking.
Walkability: Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance

Stay was fine. Rooms are old and looks like re-purposed office rooms. Bathrooms are small and there are no places to hang up towels, and closet space is very small. Walls very think so expect to hear whatever your neighbors are doing. Service is fine, but not great. Overall, if you’re looking for just a place to sleep and then explore, you’ll probably be good with this place. If you want a place to truly unwind and relax, look elsewhere.

Very loud. You can hear the man in the room next to you coughing, the woman across the hall laughing, etc. Very poor noise control between the rooms. Bring a white noise machine.
