Beautifully restored mansion that is now a bar, restaurant and hotel. We went several times - at night to the bar and for afternoon brunch on the porch. Drinks at the dark and romantic bar were the perfect way to start a night out. Saturday brunch was amazing - we had smoked fish, a burger and the shrimp and grits. (The shrimp & grits and smoked fish were gluten free). They also allowed our dog to sit with us on the porch for brunch. The service was very friendly.

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. Service was quick. We came in for cocktails. We had the Cucumber Tom Collin’s, the Coconut Hurricane, and the Moose Springsteen. Highly recommend the Moose Springsteen. It was delicious and refreshing!

Iconic New Orleans hotel/bar. A must see for anyone visiting NO. Have been many times for cocktails and apps. Outdoor seating on the porch is the perfect way to relax and look out at St. Charles Ave and the street car. Inside is historic with a nice bar and seating areas.

Service and food were great! Our server was so friendly and had wonderful suggestions for food and drinks. Sitting on the outdoor patio we were able to get the feel for NOLA.

The atmosphere was lovely, our stay was disappointing. Yes, it was festival time and noise will be expected, but not across from our room on the 2nd floor. The 1st party going on went until midnight on the balcony and an adjacent room, and the party carried out into the hallway. Another day had a DJ going in the same area for 5 hours along with loud party goers. We had no advance knowledge of the internal parties right by our room. Room Service- with the party going on the first night, we just wanted to eat in our room so we ordered room service. One of the front desk guys brought our meal up, literally handed us our two plates. No tray, no silverware, no napkins, just here's your two plates. I have never experienced such stupidity. These people should be trained or at least know better! The fries were so salty we couldn't eat most of them. The Room - pretty room, except for the bathroom. The tub had two very large pieces ripped off the inner surface, and the drain stop didn't work, so you couldn't take a bath. Why they don't fix this is beyond me. In order to take a shower, you had to turn the tub knob to shower, okay, but water goes all over the place out of control while doing so. Once the shower is going it's just a slight dribble. Double Charged and then some - We paid in advance, and were charged while staying there (got that refunded by the front desk) and were charged another 500 upon leaving. We had to call to get that refund. All the other issues were trivial but they really added up and made our visit crappy.

their staff and event planner won't honor reservations! I don't know if I will ever return after they ruined my birthday. the manager and event planner are very inhospitable so just a heads up before you try and book ANYTHING here

Ruined my birthday but hey! After planning in advance with their "Event Planner", Rachel, I showed up and they decided to give my whole reservation/room to another party that showed up before my reserved time. They did nothing to make it right and I ended up paying more for it. It's sad because I've always loved the Columns but now it's forever tarnished after ruining my birthday.

Drinks , adult conversation and delicious appetizers on a Saturday afternoon. We had no reservation and we weren't feeling like sitting outside so the staff graciously opened up a table in the coffee shop/ morning room with all amenities . Nice fire ! Best classic Sazerac I've had! Stuffed calamari - so good ! This is where our son and daughter -in-law had their first date - now many years ago. Romantic , beautifully decorated , excellent service .

It's an old Nola institution for a reason-- service is impeccable, gorgeous inside-- and more recently, excellent cocktails and innovative twists on food. Bravo.

Having a drink on the patio I was transported to a time that Gone With The Wind portrayed. The atmosphere, service and style wooed me.The drinks were tasty and the feel was mesmerizing. Then when you are inside, there's a feel of an underground speakeasy camouflaged as a Catholic Church, confessional and all.You need to visit, have a drink and once you do, you will be swept away with the spirit of the Big Easy.

The aesthetics of the place are amazing. The French toast is incredible. I had no negative experience with the food and service. It would be great if breakfast was included in the morning food options before brunch, such as grits and eggs or shrimp and grits.
