Best whiskey bar in New Orleans. Don’t ask around. Just go. Christmas time pop up is a blast. Typically too loud inside, but plenty of seating outside.

Fun atmosphere that exudes New Orleans' relaxed culture. Easily one of, if not the best whiskey bar in the city.

Wonderful whiskey. Always have some kind of fun food going. Great place to also sit outdoors with friends.

We went Sunday after the Saints game. What could have been a great experience turned into a total disaster. Our 21 year old had a drink in the alligator glass. The bar back stood over her as she finished her drink, grabbed it from her and put it in his dish bin. Then walked to the man at the door and said she was stealing the glass (he had taken the glass and put it in his dirty dish bin). As we were leaving the bouncer starts patting the 21 year old down. Extremely rude and would not stop yelling at us. Drinks were not good!! It took 45 minutes to get a drink. The fact that this older man at the door kept trying to pat everyone down for an alligator glass is beyond ridiculous.

All are not treated equally at this place. Bartenders look over ppl of color, not wanting to serve them! When asking for a drink, ppl of color are served in plastic cups when others are served in nice glasses. It's 2023 this shouldn't be. BTW the drinks aren't good, and that's the truth outside of the experience!

Recent experience was negative and the staff, particularly the bartenders tend to act discriminatory towards some customers.

Atmosphere/decor and actual drinks are pretty good. Thier customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I've never had bartenders act like I was a problem just because I requested the right glass for a drink. As SI the fact he had the audacity to LAUGH in my face when I requested the glass a second time was enough for me. I won't be returning. They act like you requesting your drinks & things to come as ordered /pictured is a big deal. And then will audible complain about having to make your drink. Set it in front of you, laugh and say things along the line of "here's your little cup you're whining about".Bukutriece has a video /instagram/ tiktok of similar experiences as well an it was the same bartender I also had an issue with.I'm all for supporting local, but only when the local shows love back.

Staff is great. Thats the best part here. It's really loud for a bourbon bar. I was expecting a bit more of a selection of current year allocated bourbon. Elijah Craig pick is very nice.

It’s a pretty cool bar, but it’s a little frustrating that it’s hard to figure out what anything costs (prices aren’t posted anywhere that I’ve seen) and it attracts an odd crowd of what appears to be mostly rich transplant yuppies. It feels like a NYC bar someone plopped in New Orleans.I will say I did really enjoy the Christmas decorations. They did a nice job making the place feel festive and while I don’t like anything sweet, everyone I was with really enjoyed the holiday cocktail menu.Haven’t had the food so I can’t comment on that - I’m sure it’s perfectly good.Overall, I don’t dislike it, I just don’t love it either but I’m also a dive bar type of guy so take what I say with a grain of salt.
