Located on the first floor of Benson Tower behind the stairs/escalators. It's a pretty typical sundry shop in that it sells drinks, snacks, medicine, lottery tickets, etc. There's a $5 minimum to use a credit card, which I think is a rip-off in this day and age, so I only go in times of emergency.

So I am the third person in line(i wanted some popcorn). There is a white lady, older black woman, and myself. The Asian owner is behind the cash register. The white lady says "I need to break a $20 and here is the nickel I owe you from last week". The Asian lady say "ok". She breaks the $20 and gives the lady the change. Nothing was bought just a money exchange. The older black lady is next, her total is $5.35. She gives the lady $6 and realizes she has change in her hand. She counts out the $.34 cents(thinking she put down .35) and ask for her dollar bill back. The Asian lady say "no you are a penny short". The older black lady recounts her money and adds the penny and had to ask a second time for her dollar back. So here's what I see...she let the white lady slide with a nickel but was withholding the elders dollar over 1 penny. So II told the Asian lady, I would never spend another dollar in your shop and walked out.

I frequent the sundry shop often. It's a real asset of the Benson Tower. You should check it out. I recommend it for everyone.
