Great sound upstairs for live music. Good drink prices. Friendly barkeeps. High table seating .. good for resting from dancing.

Went here and saw George Brown. The show was entertaining and he worked hard to keep the audience involved. Overall it's a nice place to go see live music, but I'd recommend avoiding the cocktails and stick to beer/seltzer/straight liquor. The cocktails are pre-mixed in bottles and honestly were some of the worst drinks we've ever had. The Sazerac particularly bad and tasted like red NyQuil.

This place was off the chain!! My cousin and I were in search of hearing some great jazz music before leaving town, and this place delivered! The spot may be small, but it provided a more intimate setting. When the music started playing, it took that funky chill vibe to another level! They have a great drink selection as well, so between the libations and music, the mood is just right. I'd recommend coming here to listen to any musician, have a drink and a great time!

DO NOT COME HERE THEY ARE RACIST!!! Came here on our first stop of the night and ordered two Casa Migos mixed drinks. The bartenders are EXTREMELY drunk at this establishment and for whatever reason offered us free drinks of a cheaper tequila instead, which we declined. The decline for whatever reason offended the bartender and they actually called security on us and had us thrown out for literally trying to pay for what we ordered!!! Do not come here if you are Black they will figure out any way to get you out of their establishment unfortunately.

If you visit NOLA you must visit the Blue Nile. The club is on Frenchman Street. The atmosphere is awesome. The downstairs is live music with a mixed crowd of age and races. The staff is A1, service and drinks are great. The owner is a sweetheart and clearly loved and respected by patrons and staff. I was there to celebrate my 50th. My travel companion and I were treated like Queens. That’s not all, upstairs was Jamaica night. Let’s just say another great mixed crowd with great music and great vibes! Needless to say this is the only club I need to visit when I’m in New Orleans. Do yourself a favor and check the Blue Nile out, you won’t be disappointed!!!
