Booked a vehicle with over a weeks notice. Waited in line for over an hour only to be told that they’re out of cars - reservations mean nothing at Budget and in particular this location…definitely have a plan B - a reservation will not guarantee a car at the location and Budget! Terrible.

Went to Poydras in New Orleans after making pre paid reservations. Was told there was no cars available after waiting 2 hours!!! Be aware I told them in advance if they couldn’t get me car to tell me to arrange and Uber. They didn’t offer no solutions the girl who refused give me her name said she didn’t care. She is racist against Hispanics.. lost my tour appointments and had my family walk to hotel with bags!

If I can give this location and the customer service a Zero star I would!! I asked for the girls name at reservation desk and she declined giving me her name. She never apologized for the inconvenience. After waiting for almost 2 hours for our reservation they tell us they wont have a car available for few hours and may not even have a car. The only available name for a staff at this location was a card with a name of “Yvette Ford”. We had a reservation to be at and lost our money there too. This is the worst experience ever. Do not come here unless your plans ruined. We asked for a refund and they said they couldn’t refund me . SMH ??♀️ to make matters worse. Gave me another # to call to deal with there mistake.

Customer service at this location is truly horrible. Literally some of the worst I've ever experienced...We showed up to see if we could rent a car to do some sightseeing. We were informed there were no cars left for the day. She said there were cars available tomorrow so we booked for tomorrow.We come back to check in and she gives us this line about there being no cars but we are on a "wait list". "It could be 10 minutes or 2 hours or maybe longer."After addressing the situation with my friend who made the reservation the representative rudely told me "I don't need to talk to you." Obviously hyper dismissive.At the end of the day we never did get the car and burned up a half day of our 4 day vacation. Thx a lot Budget and the insufferably horrendous customer service at this location...

This establishment provided me with a Chevrolet Impala that had the wrong license plates--registered to a Chrysler Minivan. I discovered this when a Texas police officer pulled me over for a routine license plate check, suspecting the car was stolen. This led to a two-hour delay on the side of the interstate. Despite my attempts to contact the rental location about the issue, they did not respond to my calls. Moreover, I was unfairly charged for fuel, an additional day, and a late fee, all due to the incorrect plates, which was not my fault. I am astonished by the negligence of providing a car with the wrong tags. I vow never to rent from this place again.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Made a reservation over a month ago. Even called ahead 30 minutes before I arrived to confirm everything was settled and they said it was all set. I arrive and they told me they don't have any cars even though the parking lot is full. Seinfeld got it right in that they clearly don't understand what a reservation is. What's the point in making a reservation if they don't hold the car?? It wasn't even not having a car that did it, it was the lack of sympathy or helpfulness from the employee. Didn't offer a different type of vehicle, didn't offer to check other locations. She just told us to wait or cancel but we had to call a special number to cancel in order to not get a cancellation fee

Front desk worker wasted us about 30 minutes, took no responsibility for her actions, and caused us to waste $300. Whoever that is doesn’t need a job.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Every person in line in front of me had issues with their rentals. My pre-paid pick up was for 10. At 11:00, I finally got a rental car. This disorganization and lack of clear timelines will ruin your day. I wish I had rented from the airport instead of here.

The lady at the counter was late but friendly. Budget at the the hilto in new orleansThis is at he hilton hotel budget counter new orleans My car was waiting for me but t was dirty inside andoutside. Not sure why this is in USA but this is th second time in succession to receive a dirty car. Not filled with fuel and was told to return it approximately 5/8 full. That's crazy. . The dispatcher was a person who obviously does not like her job. And told me if I expect her to wash the car. Verydissapointing

The Budget rental in 2 Poyra street New Orleans was absolutely fabulous. They really helped us with last minute rental to Texas. I don’t remember the ladies name but she had long blonde hair and was so helpful. On 8-21-23 at 10am. Thanks so much.

I reserved a cargo van online to move a few large items. I entered my credit card and received a confirmation. I arrived at the location and was told they don't have any vans and there are none around the city. Why would you take a reservation you can't honor?? Thanks for wasting my time!

Tyra is awesome!!! This was our first trip away since Covid and I was a bit nervous. I reserved the truck online a day ahead. When we walked in Tyra greeted my husband and I with a smile. She asked why I looked so nervous and I told her that I did not realize I reserved from the one downtown on Canal. She told me that I was at the right place at the right time. This made me smile. My husband gave her our reservation number and then bip, bam, boom..... we were out the door. The drop off was even easier than picking up. I will definitely be back again.
