Many long term staff, they take the time to get to know the dogs and personalize the care they need when visiting. Clean facilities, friendly service and location is easy to access on Tchoup.

I've been taking my dog Jett here since I adopted him from JPAWS 4/22 and he just loves it! He goes for daycare and overnight and I love watching him on the cameras! The team takes such great care and I so appreciate them! 5000 stars!

The staff here truly know each pet individually and are as equally excited to see your dog, as your dog is to see them. The photo days are creative, engaging and adorable. Best doggy day care in New orleans.

We had been a camper here for over a year, never any problems until my doodle started getting bigger, I was told she could no longer camp with the small dogs which she is most comfortable with, she needed to be placed in the 50lbs and up group.I watched in pure horror as my dog sat in a pen in a corner the entire day, while a worker passed her and continued to play with the other dogs. Once my baby did get enough courage to try to mingle, a German Shepard chased her and continued to bark at her, I immediately noticed her tail went in and she made her way back to get corner. I was heartbroken by what I watched. I made several calls for someone to do something to make her feel at ease, my request went on deaf ears. When I picked her up, again I voiced my frustration and was told “ maybe you need to find a smaller camp”. Well she couldn’t have said it better. That comment let me know, they really didn’t care about me or my dog’s experience, as she continued to collect my money for the day.Days later I received an email asking about my experience, and again I’ve shared this horrible experience with hopes that it would reach the right person, management maybe and someone would call and at least offer an apology, two months now and nothing. Thanks Camp Bow for letting me know, you are NOT the right camp for us.

The people that work there make the experience top notch all the time. I feel comfortable whenever we have to have Red there when we go out of town knowing he’s in good hands.

My pup Lestat enjoys his day at Camp Bow Wow. The New Orleans location is where he first learned to socialize with other dogs. The live web cams give me a peace of mind that I can check in on him at any time. The extended business hours are great for when I have late afternoon meetings for work. The enrichment activities, while an extra charge, are great for knowing that he is getting some one-on-one attention. I enjoy seeing the Instagram posts of him during his enrichment. I also love that Camp Bow Wow makes it easy to book at other locations, so I know he has places to play when I'm visiting family out of state.

I loved the fact that the camp called me to let me know that my dog was not eating. They were very concerned, and I love that.

After using them a great deal in the last two years their business is really changed and gone downhill. We sent our boy to obedience training, doggy daycare and even boarded him there. I could never recommend them again after what happened to my boy last week. He was badly bitten and scratched, and we were not notified of any problem. In addition to this he stank of marijuana when we picked him up. After numerous attempts to reach the manager Erica we finally did connect and she saw the pictures of our poor boy. While they did refund the money we had left in a package we purchased, there was no apology and no explanation of why our dog smelled like marijuana. She had the temerity to suggest that we were smoking it in the car with him. Not something we indulge in. Ever. All dogs tussle a bit at doggy daycare, it's just some thing owners need to be aware of but this was extreme and I'm sure you can see from the pictures this should have been tolerated. This is a large shy dog

Great respite for our pooch. Indoor and outdoor play areas and multiple rooms to pair your pal with dogs in their own size bracket. Staff is very caring and prices are reasonable.

First off: it's always a matter of when and not IF your dog will get sick here. It's going to happen. I bought a 20-day punch card, usually going twice a week. I still have several days left but will not use them as we recently experienced our 3rd vet visit on account of this place.Week 1 using the pass: my dog had some stomach bug and had terrible diarrhea all over my entire apartment, even parts of the walls, and lasted for a couple days at least. Cost me a couple hundred at the vet for the visit/testing/medicine. After waiting a couple weeks before she was safe to return, I brought her back and then she got kennel cough even though she was up to date on vaccines (apparently there are some strains that aren't covered). Another couple hundred at the vet, at least. Most recently, during this terrible heatwave we've been having, she came back suffering from heat exhaustion. She didn't pee for 10 hours, uninterested in water, and extremely lethargic. $130 vet visit. (Also, I once picked her up and her mouth was bleeding: no explanation, no staff member addressed it!).Biggest issue that I experienced regularly: overexertion. They claim they give your pet rest periods and yet somehow every single day I picked her up from daycare, she could barely move for the rest of the night. Some days, she'd be back to herself by morning; other days, I had to refrain from too long of walks because she was still out of it. Compare this to the hands-down BEST doggy daycare in town, hosted by Crescent City Vet, where they limit the number of dogs allowed in the yard, they limit the hours IN the yard per dog, and my pet never ever came back a zombie. She was decently tired but never to the point of total exhaustion.Camp Bow Wow has far too many dogs in their yard. They do not monitor the dogs well or give them vital breaks. In this heatwave, it caused heat exhaustion which could have developed into something much worse if I hadn't kept her home and rested for the days following.I am shocked at the rating, to be honest. You want a good daycare with caring, compassionate and knowledgeable staff and policies? Get yourself to Crescent City Vet ASAP. Avoid Camp Bow Wow at all costs.
