I'm not really sure how to explain that the doctor was informative, but the service for my dog was not so good.

The best veterinarians in town. They take pride in their work and are very gentle with their patients.

I switched to Dr. Algero after hurricane Katrina in 2005. GREAT VET, knows his animals. I have 5 cats (Tiger, Birdie, Charlie, Blackie & Bootsie), and he and his staff have been caring, knowledgeable and have provided exemplary service...my kitties like him, too...meow.

I have been going to Carrolton Vet for about 20 years. They have been through it all with me and my animals. Extremely caring, empathetic, and understanding. Dr. Algero, Pam, Andre and everyone else there have comforted me during the loss of pets and have given me hope when there is bad news regarding my pups. Would not bring my pets to anyone else. Highly recommend.

I've been coming here for years. Great vet. Kind and compassionate. They really care about your animals through the beginning and ending of their lives

They were wonderful and cared for my furkid Draco like he was their cat. I don't have enough words to express my gratitude to them. Not taking my furkids anywhere else. Thank you to everyone for your help that day and for your continued kindness to me and my furkids.

Very accommodating to my large dog who is reactive with other animals. They also make picking up medication refills very easy.

My newly acquired cat, Banksy, had a swelling in his upper lip area. A neighbor took me to this animal hospital where I found expert and friendly professionals who assured me that Banksy's issue wasn't serious. He was given a shot of an antibiotic which did the job. I highly recommend this place.

I was down here on vacation with my pet and he had a bite wound that was treated at my home vet before we left and opened back up. This was one of three vets recommended to me. I called and explained the situation and they said come right in. The place was so warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. It was also not too expensive which was an added benefit. Thank you for taking care of Tony.

In 2015 I signed my Shih-Tzu over to this place. Her name is Jewel. I am so sad that I did this but at the time I could not take care of her anymore. I had so much going on. This place said I did a great job by giving her away instead of neglecting her. I miss Jewel. I wonder how she is doing? Man I am so sad thinking about her. I hope the new owners have been treating her well. The clinic said that they would tell me how well she is doing but they never called me. I called up there to ask about her and the receptionist said that they couldn’t tell me anything but that she is with a middle aged couple. I miss her so much.7 years later I am thinking about her. I loved her so much.

I've been bringing my animals to Carrollton Veterinary Hospital since shortly after Hurricane Katrina. My former vet retired after Katrina--I'd been going there for 10 years or more. I don't tolerate incompetence or discourtesy. I had one bad experience here when a new vet misdiagnosed my dog because she failed to pull a blood panel and I ended up taking her to MedVet for intense emergency treatment. That vet is no longer associated with the practice. I've found EVERYONE there, including receptionists, vets, and vet assistants to be entirely professional, courteous, friendly, and above all, very competent and caring for both the animals and their human clients. My current dog, Willy, is 17 and broke his leg. He had surgery to repair the break yesterday and is doing fine but, because of his age, they opted to keep him an additional day. I expect to pick him up this afternoon. That I agreed to have surgery on a 17-year-old dog should indicate my confidence in this practice. I've seen a couple of bad reviews and the only thing I can say is that these reviews are completely opposite to my experiences. As I indicated, I have no problem firing people if I find them rude or incompetent. My having continued to use the clinic for 15 years should speak volumes about my satisfaction.

They are amazing and caring here. I really feel like they love my dogs and are concerned about all of their patients. I also love that I can get in same day which is a real problem at many vets in the area.
