The overdraft policy is ridiculous... I never even opted into an overdraft account as far as I know, and every time I get over drafted I get told the only thing I can do about it is take my cards off the account. Even though I just took the advice and did so, it just seems a bit off to me that the company that produces and issues out these debit cards would have the authority to simply not allow a charge which would discontinue any service that you would be getting charged for. You just get an email receipt out of the blue and if you didn’t have money waiting in the account you go into debt and they slap not just one but two over draft fees and it ends up being like a $70+ total charge and it seems like every time I try to do something about it, it’s always the same answer. “The best thing I can tell ya is to take the cards off of the associated accounts.” I must be ignorant to something cause it just seems like it’s more of a matter of what chase WONT do as opposed to what they CANT do. Honestly might just close the account all together
