Fresh and delicious food and coffee. A little on the spendy side for sandwiches. Getting cookies, macarons or bagels out of the case will save you money. Love that they are ?️??️⚧️ friendly!

I visit here often , never again. At over $8 bucks I never expected to get the butt of a bread for my Avo toast. Also was the thickness of my fingernail. Which made it extremely hard and inedible. Pics for references. Disappointed .

Good and nice coffee. (They use NYC beans). Food is great and healthy! Cozy and quiet atmosphere, interior full of art, like it. Friendly and pretty fast service.

I wish I could continue to love and support this place but the quality/ quantity vs cost has gotten ridiculous. This place exemplifies gentrification. How can you claim to be for the community and then charge $4!!! for a bagel with "butter and jam." And you're probably thinking "oh well homemade jam sounds nice... nope. Welches jam packets you get for free at any diner or restaurant. Also, my bagel was definitely old cause it was almost rock hard. I used to love the avocado toast, which has since gone up in price and waaaaay down in quality and size (sidenote: being advertised on baguette as well as the Turkey and avo sandwich that come on a tiny hard piece of multigrain bread). I tried something different today, hoping for a better outcome and to change my opinion back, but I was served a bland "Turkey, goat cheese, and greens fried egg sandwich on bagel" for almost $14!!! It was mushy from the grease off the Turkey, super thin, undercooked bagel, flavorless, and THATS my goat cheese spread...literally the only ingredient that might make it worth even $10 let alone almost 14! And to claim you're part of the community while charging insane prices; it's no surprise I only ever see one type of person shopping/eating here. If you're gonna charge such d*** prices, at least try to serve something of quality & worth my money. I used to tell people this was the best coffee shop in New Orleans when I first moved to the neighborhood and discovered it. Sad I now have to avoid and drive 15 minutes to anywhere else.

In a neighborhood full of top notch coffee shops this one stands out as the best. Service stands heads and shoulders above others in the neighborhood and the coffee, espresso drinks and snacks are always fantastic. With at least three other very good coffee shops within walking distance Church Alley remains my family's consistent favorite.

Plenty of cafés in the neighborhood, but it’s tough to beat the vibe here. Cozy, friendly, with plenty of good service to keep ya coming back.

Absolutely adorable little spot. Love the look of all the plants and whatever. How do you use to give it that cinnamon a flavor is really good! I wish I had time to sit down and enjoy a pastry today too.

Used to love this place. Great tea and coffee - used to get latte breves. Veggie bagel is a must! But my most recent visit they told me the do not carry half n half or heavy cream- ever now. Just an fyi! Odd for a coffee shop especially since they have whole Milk (and half n half keeps longer, prob more popular too)...? So it's not because they're going vegan.. this sucks because it won't be my morning treat anymore :( prices are steeper than the bean, too.
