About Crescent Park
Crescent Park is a hidden gem and pleasant, peaceful escape in New Orleans that offers a different look of the city. It features beautiful surroundings with views of the Mississippi River and the city’s skyline. The park has a paved trail about 1.4 miles in length for a leisurely stroll, jog, or bike ride along the waterfront. Its design incorporates modern elements, lush green spaces, wildflower meadows, and native plants. There are cool pedestrian crossings over the railroad, including an elevator for wheelchairs. The park provides different areas for photos, spots to sit and relax, and a big, covered warehouse floor great for skating and tennis. It has water fountains and portable toilets in some areas. Visitors should note it can get quite hot with limited shade, and they should be careful where they park. It is a wonderful destination for events, exercise, or simply taking in the scenic, quiet views.

Had my oldest daughter who turned 28 adult Easter egg hunt up there for about two hours. It was windy, but they had a good time searching for the eggs..

Nice place, it’s not exactly by the Mississippi River , you need to go over a walking bridge
