I've always had issues with this pharmacy, I've been hung up on multiple times after waiting on hold for at least 10 minutes. And when I do talk to a person, they act like they could have better things to do.

The people that work at this store are great. It's a cvs and the company is extremely cheap, but the employees make it good, especially in the pharmacy.

This is usually my "go to" pharmacy but I will be transferring my prescriptions and my business to another pharmacy. They are routinely understaffed, only have self check outs, and their staff is extremely rude. CVS needs a better management model.

Was a faithful CVS on Louisiana Ave customer because it is right across the street from my house, which I work to pay to live in, but I have moved my prescriptions to another pharmacy. I'm not sure if this is new management that has taken over but he acts as if he doesn't know where anything is and comes off as very sexist. I say this because twice I was buying nail polish that was on sale and he helped me both times. The first time, he asked me to show him where it was and so I did. The second time he seemed to have the same dilemma of not knowing where the nail polish was and asked me to show him. When I informed him that I didn't work for free, he claimed he didn't know where it was because cosmetics wasn't his section. Maybe I am mistaken, but the last time I checked, when you are the manager of a store, every section is your section. Not to mention that this CVS location is rather small so it's not an obstacle to learn the sections. When I visited the store again, the same manager was there, but this time was gossiping about me behind my back to the other male workers there. When I asked for corporate's phone number, he claimed he didn't know. When I asked for the store number, he claimed he didn't know and "directed" me to look for it myself. Whenever I've come into this location with this particular manager, I've felt disrespected and I am usually left to emotionally and psychologically stand up for myself, which is then met with criticism and more disrespect. He claimed that I was "attacking" him by pointing out that it is his job, as a manager, to know where things are in his store, not mine as a customer. I was the only woman in the store, the only customer actually and I was not attacking him, only stating an observation-- that each time I have encountered him, he has claimed to lack knowledge of his store, which I am well aware is a power-move when you don't want to do something. As I mentioned in the opening paragraph, I am moving my business to another pharmacy. I've been a customer of this CVS for going on 2 years now and I haven't had any problems with the employees until this new manager was hired. I've not felt welcomed in this CVS as a loyal customer, but have felt disrespected both as a woman and as a black woman.

So my experience is limited to one visit to the front end, but it has everything you want in a CVS - snacks, cold drinks, seasonal items, etc. However, if you're from up North the interesting part is the aisle of alcohol. We do not have that in New England, so it's a novelty to see. I don't think I'm the first tourist to take pictures of it considering the kind head shake from the cashier.

Beware, they do not honor coupons. I had two separate CVS coupons they did not honor because they "would not scan." OK, tech is not foolproof, so I suggested they punch in the numerical codes printed on them, but they refused. How's that for customer service?
