Horrible experience the equipment was falling apart from day 1 or arrival had to bring in 4 times for repairs and the repair man attitude was extremely unprofessional the owner confused me someone else and accused me of poor upkeep of the equipment and the receptionist promised a home repair

DME Direct, LLC, Home Medical Equipment, owned and lead by Bruce Roussell has been a life saver for me. I found Bruce as a result of a purchase of a motorized scooter for my aunt, a nun with the Sisters of the Holy Family. As I don’t live in New Orleans, I needed to find someone local to assist with routine and non routine maintenance. Each and every time I’ve called his company, he has responded within hours. Each visit my aunt has expressed how professional, helpful and kind he is. I haven't had an issue that he couldn't resolve quickly. I give him and his staff 5 stars!

Bruce, with DME Direct is awesome!! I contacted DME and other medical supply places in the New Orleans and Jefferson Parish in search of a replacement cord for my Mom's portable oxygen concentrator. Bruce noted they didn't have any, but told me he will check with some contacts and get back to me. In my past experience, I would rarely get a call back from a company that did not have an item I requested, but 10 mins. later I received a call from Bruce. He told me to get a pen and paper and wright a phone number and contact to someone who could help me out. I reached out to the contact and arranged the purchase and to pick up the power cord later in the afternoon. When I was in route to pick up the item I received a call from Bruce checking to see if I made contact and if I had the power cord, I was shocked and speechless. I was so surprised that this gentleman would actually follow up to see if I was able to get an item that I didn't purchase from his business. Bruce is a rare person in today's world of customer service. You can believe that if there's ever a need for medical equipment the very first place I will be contacting is DME!! Thank you Bruce for your kind heart and professional service. DME is certainly an outstanding business having you a part of their team.

Very professional and friendly. Delivered supplies to the hospital before my niece was discharged then delivered the rest of the equipment to the home before she got there. All equipment was set up and working. Thanks for always answering our calls and delivering promptly. You made her recovery easier to bear.

Mr. Bruce is very PROFESSIONAL. When my daughter was discharged from the hospital, I called for supplies for her and Mr. Bruce was there to take care of everything. He was very patient and very heart caring. Thank u Mr. Bruce.

We ordered a couple of ankle braces from DME. One of them was backordered. The communication and support around this was absolutely over the top fantastic.I have not dealt with such a customer focused company in years. No joke.

Recently assisted a patient who needed oxygen- contacted DME Direct and w/in an hr- 1h 1/2 the family was met by the company @ their home upon their arrival from the patient's medical appointment. Refreshing to always be met w/professional, knowledgeable & compassionate staff, says a lot about the owners.
