Just left this store. It’s a mess. We had to stand in line for almost 20 minutes to check out then the cashier had the audacity to select “extremely satisfied” at the end of the transaction before I could select “extremely dissatisfied.” He needs to be fired and they need to shut this store down!

Was only letting a few people in the store at a time. Kept the front door locked for unknown reasons. There was a line of people waiting outside the door.

The picture attached to this review is the first thing you see upon waking into the store. Would you want to shop here? Once inside the store I was overtaken by the heat. The employees were exclaiming and wiping sweat from their brows. One employee was sitting by the door ( he did not appear to be loss prevention) that was open and did not close. Inventory at this store is horrible. Shelves on multiple rows are empty and they never have everything that I need when I visit. The only positive about this store is how quickly the cashiers check people out. They are also nice. It’s evident that Dollar General doesn’t care about the community or the people that patronize their business and keep it open. A GM needs to tend to this store expeditiously.

Yesterday I purchase a money pak card for the first time I ask the cashier was there anything else I need he said no so i was like ok when I got home I couldn't get my money off of it....the manager said u can go on Google for any information there customer service is horrible the store is nasty and smells it seems as if the cashier kept my receipt i will be taking this matter to corporate and won't stop until my funds are return to me ....

I only shop at the Claiborne store because it's near my home, but I will be going to Family Dollar from here on. I went into the store and as I'm walking up to check out the Cashier, with a red wig on, said she won't check me out. Now I Never met her before so I wasn't sure why. I had my children with me. The Manager walked over and checked me out, but he did not even say nothing to her about her Not ringing me up. No name tags, so I cannot even give a name. The second time a Dollar general employee did that to me within 1 month, in front of my Children!!! I'm aware that the store is in a Urban area, but it need to be some type of Professionalism on these Jobs. I can Manage better then the guy did, he basically walked off not even apologizing. Family Dollar here on! Indigenous Person in New Orleans ?♂️♎♀️

I mean, it is what it is. It’s just the Dollar General. During my visit, it was busy and the line was long but we don’t have rows of DGs down the street like Houston does, so it’s expected. Anywho, I got this bikini line trimmer from there and y’all it works so good! I forgot how much I paid for it but man it is definitely worth it. It also has a guard for the larger side! 2 Triple A batteries are needed
