Since the employees don’t warn you, I am. Horrible moth infestation! I lost 3k of vintage clothes, coats and furs. I have never seen such devastation in only 6 months. Beware and do not leave any clothes not in sealed box with cedar. I told them I was moving out by end of the month and they won’t prorate rent for 5 days. They want me to pay a whole month, after costing my business 3k.

I’m giving 4 out of 5 stars just because my issue with the company should be more known. I purchased the online deal for a unit but 4 months later, the bill doubled. I didn’t realize this until I was checking my bank statement. Apparently a notice was sent out regarding the unit going up in price but I either didn’t receive it or it got tossed out because it looked like junk mail. Either way I didn’t get the memo. The possibility of the price increase was listed on the rental agreement but not discussed with me and I surely didn’t read the whole document. If the online deal is just a promotion, that should be very explicit on the website.However, my customer service experience with Lexis at the 1601 Tchoupitoulas location was excellent! She talked with her supervisor about getting a better deal and brought my rental cost back down (not as much but still significantly less than what they were trying to charge). Thank you Lexis for helping me out with this matter!Overall, the rental space is very nice, clean, and easy to access and unload even in rainy conditions. It is well lit and I love that there is a real person there to assist if needed.

I was assisted by Gloria, who was wonderful. She explained everything clearly and efficiently. She is very professional, with excellent communication skills and a friendly, welcoming personality.The facility itself was immaculately clean, well lit, and with good climate control. I was impressed. I'm glad I chose Extra Space in general, and the Tchoupitoulas Street location in particular.

Absolutely the best most storages says climate control and when you get there it’s hot and has terrible up keeping but this storage extra storage place you will not be disappointed Absolutely the best.

We absolutely love Extra Space Storage on Tchoupitoulas! The staff is so friendly and helpful and the facility is top notch, very beautifully maintained, clean, safe and very accessible. Definitely recommend this Storage facility!!
