Happy with my choice to stay here. The hotel is terrific, much nicer than others in the area. Rutendo, a manager, is spectacular and a very good host. I would recommend this hotel. Thanks for the nice stay.

Valet parking is available, but don’t drive a truck or large vehicle because it’ll be parked on the street. We woke up to our vehicle with smashed windows and stolen items along with other guests. Hotel and employees were amazing, but leaving to this mess ruined the entire experience.

My wife became a Doctor on Monday 05/09/22. For her Graduation, We planned to be in New Orleans for a few days. Our youngest daughter woke up sick the Morning we were to leave. We had NO choice but to cancel our trip. We called Four Season to let them know, they were very understanding of what it is to be parents and even though we cancel on the day of, they gave us a Full refund when they didn’t have to. That’s People taking care of people. We will eventually make the trip there. We will see you then, Thank you again. The Uta’s from Memphis, TN

I had made plans for a first dinner date in New Orleans with an exceptional lady from elsewhere in Louisiana, and arranged two guest rooms for us. Staff greeted us so warmly and enthusiastically, which charmed my guest very much! The rooms were absolutely perfect and lacked nothing. The restaurants and cocktail lounges were superb. Service was everywhere, and impeccable. There will be a second date, much thanks to the wonderful experience at the Four Seasons and their thoughtful, professional staff. Truly flawless.

I woke one morning and bought a one-way ticket to New Orleans. I wandered into town with just the shirt on my back and went looking for a place to stay. I ended up wandering into The Four Seasons, where I was warmly received and given lodging for the night. That evening I lost my wallet on Bourbon Street, and the next morning a lovely receptionist called me to say my card—which I had frozen—was not working. This began a 2-day ordeal where I was stranded in New Orleans and without cash. Apple Pay helped save the day, but not before the receptionist offered to let me stay another night and eat the entire day on the house while my replacement card was en route. Because of this extraordinary kindness—which I found reflected in each of the staff members I met—I decided to stay another day. And then the day after that. And then I kept staying for a good while longer. I ate a couple hundred oysters and enjoyed rich conversation with the super talented oyster staff. I also ate lots of shrimp and killed a lot of pâté with pickles. The beans in the restaurant downstairs are the greatest beans I’ve had in my life, and I ate the ribeye and muffuletta multiple times. But did I mention the staff? Everyone took care of me like I was a cherished friend, and this while I was making requests like some diva: “um, May I have another massage? And can I get 3 shrimp cocktails delivered to the pool? And can I please get another club sandwich at 3 am?” The hotel was the perfect landing spot after days and nights of jazz and gluttony. Eat at New Orleans Food and Spirits in Metairie. Eat the entire menu like I did. The bed in this joint is next level. And did I mention the excellent staff? I miss you, Four Seasons in New Orleans. You are in my heart now and I cannot wait to visit you all again. Richie

Saved up my pocket money for 2 years to take the missus out, and ultimately ended up here. I can assure you, the walls are thick enough......best sex yet! Oh, and the staff were lovely and the location couldnt be more convenient.....so she said :)

The food and service was excellent, with just enough attention and advice on the wine to give the feeling of being well attended but not overbearing. The food quality was also excellent as expected especially the steaks.

I absolutely loved the Four Seasons New Orleans! The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful - service exceeded my sky-high expectations for a Four Seasons and for this price point. I enjoyed the welcome glass of champagne upon check in and the Front Desk agent couldn't have been more friendly. The valet and doormen made me feel so welcome every time I returned to the hotel. The concierge had a perfect recommendation where to find a delicious crawfish boil only 2 blocks from the hotel. Room service was fast and good. I wasn't sure about the location initially but it ended up being very convenient/central. I received a city-view room facing the construction site at Harrah's, but no work was done during the weekend so there was no noise issue from construction. The city view was quite pretty, so I wasn't disappointed that I couldn't see the river. I stayed in the base-level room, but the marble bathroom is huge and luxurious even in the lower-priced rooms. The room has many thoughtful small touches like a premium carpet pad and the ability to cast my tablet to the TV. The hotel first opened in fall of 2021 after a gut renovation, so it's wired with the latest tech. The white theme of the room is modern and simple, maybe a little bare for some tastes, but I liked it. I was also impressed with the quality of the equipment at the large gym and the free fruit/ snacks/ drinks. Of course, there were some minor flaws, although they were more than compensated by the fabulous service: 1. There was a very loud horn at around 7am, maybe a passing train; 2. The hotel was still under construction when I stayed in March 2022 and some areas aren't quite finished - for me this was a plus since I am interested in construction/renovation; 3. the pool is very bare-looking with dark tile and no plants in the potters or vines on pergola when I visited in early March. On the plus side, I loved the massive hot tub. 4. Service at the pool was very slow at times since there was just one staff member. An option to order and cash out via a QR code at the pool would be nice. 5. You can't see the river from the pool deck chairs, but some of the promotional pictures made the river seem visible from the pool with a clever camera angle. 6. Minor housekeeping issues around base of soaker tub and a chipped glass. 7. WiFi stopped working during the last 8 hours of my stay, but I didn't really need it and I didn't alert the front desk. As a first-time Four Seasons guest and value-oriented traveler, I was skeptical the brand really is worth the money. Now I'm a believer! Already planning to stay at 4S for my next two vacations, and I hope to return to Four Seasons New Orleans someday!

So there are things that are out of management's control that are definitely things you'll want to be aware of and then there are things that need attention by staff. I deducted a star for the issues they need to fix. We stayed in a premier city view King, room 1036. It was a corner room facing both the quarter and the river. The room itself is absolutely stunning. Very spacious, all the best new tech amenities, etc. Just gorgeous. Walking into the room made me forget that I had just spent 8 hours in an airport delayed on our flight to New Orleans. Bed is incredible, towels are fluffy and thick, soaps and shampoos are heavenly... it was all just beautiful. We also mentioned we were coming in for a birthday and to run a 10k race so we were so delighted by the extra touch of management having a birthday cupcake and a bottle of champagne waiting for us. It's little things like that which separate this from other properties in the Quarter. We only encountered ONE salty person on staff, which was a bartender at the Chandelier on our second day. I'm not sure what his deal was but he was very unfriendly and was more interested in flirting with a group than bothering to smile at my husband and I. Aside from him, the staff is just exceptional. Everyone is incredibly warm, welcoming, and caring. The chandelier bar is worth the trip for the drink concoctions alone. Really good recipes and the appetizers are delicious. We ate at the bar at Miss River on our last night and had the pleasure of having Brian as our bartender. He was the absolute best. Very friendly, made great recommendations, and was prompt with any request we had. Miss River is a must do- and definitely get the table side chicken. Where we ran into hiccups was with room service! After running an early morning 10k race, we came back to the room to order coffee and some muffins while we got ready for the day. It was about 10am, so not exactly morning rush hour for food. We also didn't order any entrees so you can imagine how annoying it was to wait over 90 minutes for our coffee and muffins. I called down to ask what was going on and the room service operator quoted me 7 minutes before the food was delivered. She was off by about 30. The coffee arrived cold and the large pot (which they charge about $16 for) doesn't even give you 4 cups. We tried room service again the second morning (again, just coffee and muffins, no entrees) and were disappointed that it took nearly 45 minutes. Again, coffee was cold and pot didn't supply even 4 cups. This is definitely not acceptable for a Four Seasons and we were surprised there was no attempt by management to call up and at least comp the coffee. Our fridge did not work the entire time we were there. I raised the issue with the front desk and he said someone would call me about it. That still hasn't happened. My last two issues are out of management's control and look to be an issue with the building. First, water pressure is great as long as you avoid high traffic times like first thing in the morning or dinner time. Then you're dealing with a trickle of water. Lastly, the train. Others have mentioned it and you should be aware if you are a light sleeper. This thing is very very loud. It will absolutely wake you up at 4am. And again at 5am. And probably again at 6am. Maybe there are rooms where you don't hear it but we were not so lucky. I would have appreciated a warning from staff. Aside from the hiccups, the staff was really wonderful and the property itself is beautiful. The Quarter desperately needed a high end property (Sonesta and Ritz are old and it shows) so this is a welcome addition. I especially love that you feel like you're on a private little compound when you're there. You could truly stay the entire trip on site and have a great vacation without leaving. I'd like to just see them work on the kinks mentioned above considering the price point.

My family and I stayed at this hotel April 15-18, 2022. My children are 12 and 10. Our experience was horrible considering Four Seasons' standards. I'm only writing this review here because I have yet to receive the General Manager's contact information. The Good: Check-in, concierge (Danny), chandelier bar (Alyssa) The Bad: Housekeeping, Room Service, Daily Rail Train Horn blowing from 3-5 a.m. We checked in on Friday, April 15th. The check-in process was smooth. We got to our room, and concierge did their part with complimentary birthday balloons for my kids. We went to freshen up, and there were only 3 bath towels in the bathroom. No hand towels or face towels. No big deal, we called Housekeeping and spoke with Barbara, and she said they'd have the towels right up. 30 minutes later, no towels and we had dinner reservations to make. We left for dinner thinking housekeeping will get our towels in the bathroom when we're at dinner. Back from dinner close to 10 p.m., still no towels, but we did come back to a nice welcome amenity of mocktails and a bottle of champaign. Called Housekeeping again, and Barbara was shocked the towels weren't in our room, so she said she would bring them up herself. She did. By that time, our kids were exhausted as it was close to 10:30 p.m. We put on our "Do not disturb" signal, and got ready for bed. Low and behold, we get a knock on the door despite the "Do Not Disturb" sign being on. It's two housekeepers with towels. We turn them away saying we already got them. We get in bed. Knock, knock, knock (again, DO NOT DISTURB SIGN IS ON). It's someone from room service (South Asian gentleman - never caught his name) wanting to pick up the champagne bottle and mocktail cooler even though we never asked for it to be picked up. We turned him away and told him he could get it the next day. Woke up at 4 a.m. Saturday morning to the blaring horns of the locomotive that runs right below the hotel. Nevertheless, we shake it off and get ready for our day in New Orleans. After spending the day wandering town in 85 degrees, we come back to the hotel to freshen up for our dinner plans. My wife and daughter shower, and then my son then me. Both my son and I had cold showers. Again, we let it slide and made it to dinner. Upon our return from dinner, our room had been "freshened" up with turn down service. My daughter ended up becoming violently ill at dinner and vomited on me. So, I went to take a shower. When I got my towel it felt damp and had a faint make-up spot on it. When I asked my wife, she said, "that's my towel with tinted moisturizer spots on it." The turndown housekeeper simply took my wife's towel off the towel hook, folded it up, and presented it as a new towel under our sink. This was the "straw that broke the camel's back." I called downstairs to the manager on duty - Dan. Dan was very embarrassed and said this would be an experience you'd expect at the "Holiday Inn" and not at the Four Seasons. He was very apologetic. He asked what he could do, and I said just do the "A, B, Cs" as we are paying a lot of money to stay at his hotel. He promised to have a fresh set of towels delivered to our room at 8 a.m. on Sunday, and for the Rooms Manager to clean our room at 11 a.m. The next morning, 8 a.m. came around and the towels didn't show up. We were waiting for them so we could get ready for Easter Brunch. At 8:15, I had to go downstairs and I spoke to Danny in concierge. Danny got us towels to our room five minutes after I came down. Of course, 10 minutes later, another housekeeper showed up with a second set of towels, which we again had to turn away. To hold my son over until brunch, we ordered some fruit and a muffin from room service. A nice young lady (with two nose rings in her nose - I didn't catch her name) delivered our food. She asked if we needed anything else, and I asked if we could have some ice water. She immediately said we could call housekeepi

I have been visiting New Orleans for a very long time, my first trip there was for the World's Fair and I fell in love. Since then I've been back many, many times and have stayed at quite a few hotels but for the most part I've stayed at the Windsor Court the last few years. However, for my birthday, I wanted to try something new - and I'm so glad I did! Lagniappe does not cover the hospitality I felt in this hotel. As mentioned before, it was my birthday, I didn't mention this when I made the reservation but a few days before my arrival I received an email from the concierge giving me information about the check in process and also asking the purpose of my trip and whether I was celebrating anything. I decided to include that it was my birthday, only expecting a "happy birthday" from the front desk when I checked in. I was most definitely wished a happy birthday but also offered a glass of champagne, which I quickly accepted! After dropping my bag in my room and freshening up, my friends and I (also staying at the Four Seasons) headed out to find happy hour! When we returned to get ready for dinner I was truly touched when I walked into my room and saw the bottle of champagne chilling in a bucket and the small birthday cake they left for me. Bottom line is that I can't really ask for more in a hotel: Attention to detail - I love a bathrobe and some slippers Acknowledging and celebrating a guest special occasions A beautify laid out room with turn down service (thank you so much for filling the ice bucket! It's been a long time...) Here's my only negative thing, and it's completely a personal preference. I enjoy spending time shopping on Royal St. and walking around looking at the art in that area of the French Quarter. That's also where the restaurants are that I tend to want to go to. If you're wanting to visit the visit the restaurants in the CBD (of which there are many excellent restaurants and the WWII museum (which I highly recommend...moving beyond belief) Overall, would I stay there again? Heck yeah I would! In a heartbeat!
