Drove all the way from arabi LA, to come to this location, bigger selections and great customer service, the employees actually helps and produce was easy to find. Thank you for your great customer service on my visit Trina and Rakele, not too many would go above and beyond.

Everything was going great when I walked into the store pushing my bicycle I was in there to purchase a lock to be able to secure my bicycle while in New Orleans no where on the door anywhere on the property is it posted that you cannot push a bicycle into this establishment. Well, they have a New Orleans city cop that is their security guard and he's a complete asshole, and immediately started chewing me that bikes are not allowed in the store. You must get it out immediately even the manager backed him up. I have never heard of bikes, not being allowed. As long as you push them in any store. I'll take this thing everywhere I go. We're in a high soft town and it's a very expensive bicycle anyway they made me leave they would not sell me a lock. So I drove over to Lowe's about 3 miles away and I thought my bicycle was the coolest thing that ever seen they were looking at it. They were happy, not treating me like a criminal that was going to load the bicycle up and head out of the store at some high speed and they ended up selling me a $25 lock so maybe you should assess the training of your RoboCop's because this really upset me I've never been attacked like that from anybody and if you don't allow bicycles post it on your front door because I read everything on the door that was not allowed inside the store and it didn't say anything about bicycles.

On a recent visit to New Orleans, we found ourselves helping to build a small container garden at the last minute on a Sunday morning. Where to go? Home Depot!Alicia was so helpful. Even though she does not have a green thumb, she was so kind and so knowledgeable as we filled our platform truck cart with raised planters, potting soil and envelopes filled with seeds. Hopefully in 60-70 days the garden will be filled with cucumbers, peppers and tomatoes. While we were there, we also picked up logs and fire starters for a fire pit. S'mores anyone??

heard their tortilla soup was really good. i came to this location and was extremely disappointed. it was so cold and no tortilla strips at all. will not be returning. so sad about this !!!!!

The employees are so nice here. They are a mega-chain-hardware store but I'd have to say that their customer service is above average. They had what I wanted where it was supposed to be.

The people who work here, especially this horrible racist woman in the plant department all are terrible. If you want ghetto service, no baskets, no help then come here. Not sure why they haven't fired her yet.

don't buy anything from home depot online. You will not be able to return it to the store- REGARDLESS OF WHAT THEIR ONLINE RETURN POLICY STATES. They will insist that "someone" has to pick it up from the delivery location. However, no one ever schedules and no one knows anything. But your card will still be charged. We are stuck with an $850 damaged item that Home Depot will not take of. BUYER BEWARE.

Ordered a new fridge after Ida. Expected delivery window was 11am-3pm. The drivers came 3.5 hours early and then refused to carry the fridge up one flight of stairs claiming it wouldn't fit, even though there was clearance on both sides. We said we could take 5 minutes to remove the doors to the fridge to make it easier (we've replaced several fridges and they've always been ok with this), but they said they couldn't wait that long. They then proceeded to leave the fridge blocking our front door with my husband locked outside and me locked inside...at 9am on Saturday, all before coffee. And then it starts to rain. You can't make this up. I've been on the phone for over an hour trying to see if they can come help us move the fridge again, but no help at all. I wish I would've used a local company instead. They said that one the doors are off, the unit it modified and they can no longer install it. ....the fridge comes with instructions on how to remove the doors so you can switch their sides. This is not "modifying the unit." Not to mention, the doors came all bashed in and scratched up. Terrible experience.

DO NOT BUY MASONITE DOORS FROM HOME DEPOT ! I purchased two Masonite exterior doors from this Home Depot and had them installed on my home. Within 4 months these two doors began splitting apart in the same manner ! Masonite will send me two more of the same doors with NO GUARANTEE THEY WILL NOT SPLIT IN THE SAME MANNER -OR- $300 which does not cover the cost of the two doors much less the installation cost ! So the message here is DO NOT TAKE A CHANCE ON A DOOR THE MANUFACTURER DOESN’T THINK WORTH THE PRICE THEY CHARGE YOU ; THESE DOORS WILL FAIL ! I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET HELP FROM HOME DEPOT ON THIS MATTER AS WELL WITHOUT SUCCESS. THEY HAVE REFERRED ME TO MASONITE. IM WONDERING IF HOME DEPOT CARES ABOUT THE QUALITY OF TGE PRODUCTS THEY SELL??? This is a very small part of the nightmares I have been experiencing while purchasing items for my home . I CANNOT RECOMMEND THE HOME DEPOT STORE , DELIVERY SERVICE OR THE MERCHANDISE THEY SELL! My purchases can be verified !!!

Got a new fridge and was having trouble hooking the existing water supply tubing to the ice maker. Needed some sort of adapter, I guess, I don't know - I'm a nurse, not a plumber. Went to Home Depot this morning armed only with a vague idea and some pics of the pieces and parts at play. Standing there clueless wondering why me? and along comes Kenneth, kind enough to notice my confusion and cluelessness and patient enough to understand what the heck I was describing since apparently there's a whole other language when it comes to these bits (male and female but nothing like my patients.) He picked out the perfect piece and got me out of there quick before I wasted all sorts of money and energy and wound up paying someone else to do it. Now, THAT's customer service! Hopefully I won't have any other issues adapting but if I do Kenneth's going to be my guy. Truly a gentleman!

I have never been so furious and confused in my life. I come to this store frequently since I'm a contractor working in this city. While waiting for 10 minutes for someone to open a case so I can spend another $1000 on tools and being ignored by several employees, I was approached by a cop who took everything out of my hands. He proceeded to tell me we are leaving while grabbing the back of my shirt and pushing me down the tool aisle. I asked him what is going on and he says he will tell me at the door. When we get to the door he tells me not to come back. I asked him why I was being thrown out and that I was just waiting for someone to come open the tool case he tells me I can leave or go to jail. "GO TO JAIL FOR WHAT!!!?" He refused to tell me, pushed me into the pouring rain and told me to "Get the f*** out". So not only did I just lose a half days work having to drive to Hammond to a real tool store to buy my Milwaukee tools, I had to go back home to change because I was soaking wet after being literally thrown into the pouring rain. I am telling Everyone I know with a commercial account about how ridiculous my experience today was. My partner and I already closed our account and I am going to influence every single contractor I know to do the same. I will never spend another dollar at another Home Depot in my life. Edit: After 6 phone calls and an hour and a half on hold to speak to a manager I have yet to talk to someone!

Just started our business and had to come get some supplies. Exceptional crew here, very helpful with all of questions (and we had a lot). Special shout out to John for his expertise and for getting our pro account up and running and showing us how to make the most of our Home Depot experience. This place is one stop shopping for us now for anything our restaurant needs (besides food obviously).

The worse experience ever as a customer! All I was asking someone , anyone for assistance to find plants to purchase! Everyone and I mean everyone was passing the buck! This guy who looked and spoke to other employees like a manger told me they were busy! My husband and my I were preparing to spend hundreds of dollars on merchandise to redo our landscape! I decided to just leave what I already had on my cart and walk away! My husband had about 20 bags of mulch on his cart that he had just checked out! Unbelievable that you would disregard a customer who is spending money & patronizing your business like this! We will never set foot into another Home Depot again! With so many businesses out there who appreciate their customers ... it is so sad to be treated like this!
