We have stayed here for two Nola trips now and we won’t be staying elsewhere in the future! The owner is a native New Orleanian and embodies southern hospitality. She is clear and respectable regarding check in/check out procedures. She keeps the common area stocked with snacks- fruit, granola, and local goodies! We’ve stayed in the patio room and loved it, but the porch room was pretty special. The people watching is amazing. When we stay here we feel like we’re getting a true local New Orleanian experience.

Had a great stay here on a mother-daughter trip in January. The patio suite was so cozy and a great value. Raynell was very communicative and helpful throughout our stay. We absolutely loved the location - a quiet neighborhood with easy street parking and many great restaurants, shops, and sights within walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

I came to New Orleans as a first timer for a wedding! It was being held at Il Mercato in the garden district so I wanted to stay at a residence that was close by and that’s how I found the Garden District B &B. When I say the Garden District Bed & Breakfast is nothing short of amazing I truly mean it! First Ray the owner is the sweetest most kindest person ever! She has such a welcome infectious personality and her being A true NOLA native she shares all the best spots in the area and I tried some of them and she did not steer me wrong lol. It’s located on Magazine street and everything is easy accessible to everything from tours, restaurants, shops, sights and etc. Me being from NYC I’m a walker and an adventurer and I felt super safe in the neighborhood walking from very early morning to even super late nights. I can go on and on on how much of a gem this place is! Ray thank you for your beautiful hospitality. Your residence was so cozy like a second home. I will surely be back and I’ll be bringing friends next time! Everyone please book this beautiful place. You WONT REGRET IT ☺️💕!

We loved everything about this bed and breakfast— the room & bathroom were beautiful and comfortable. Raynell is the most lovely host ever. I give it 10 out of 5. Will certainly come back and stay again!

We stayed here for three nights and absolutely loved it. The owners went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, from thoughtful touches to personalized recommendations. The location was ideal, offering easy access to all the main attractions, yet still peaceful and relaxing. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

A brilliant hotel for a stay in New Orleans. The Garden District is a great place to stay as it has lots of great shops and restaurants that are easily walkable. It is an easy streetcar ride to the French Quarter. The hotel is very quaint with large comfortable rooms. There is free car parking right outside. The host was super friendly and made our stay in New Orleans very memorable.

Such a great experience! We booked a trip to NOLA last minute for Memorial Day weekend and got incredibly lucky that Garden District B&B still had a room available. The location is absolutely the BEST for exploring NOLA, quiet enough yet central to everything, and the host, Ray, could not have been friendlier and more accommodating. Such great value overall! Highly recommended.

Amazing bed & breakfast! The host is very friendly and helpful, we asked for recommendation for crawfish and had a great experience at the place she recommended down the street. The room is very quiet and clean, bed is very comfortable too. It also has amazing location: very safe area in the garden district with easy and free parking, walking distance to tons of shopping and restaurants. We’d love to come back some time in the future!

We had a perfect weekend stay at Garden District Bed and Breakfast. Our space was clean, comfortable, and roomy, and the breakfast was great. I really enjoyed my talk with Raynell about books and New Orleans. The location could not be beat, and I loved that we could just park our car and walk to a lot of different restaurants, stores, and shops.

My spouse and I stayed at the Garden District Bed and Breakfast for 4 nights recently and we HIGHLY recommend it. Our room was lovely--charming, very comfortable, and super clean. The bathroom had been renovated recently, too. Raynell is super friendly and fun to chat with. She also was quick to help when I had questions about the area or how to get around (I never had the pleasure of meeting Luis, but my spouse says he's super nice!). Speaking of the area, I can't imagine a better location. You can leave the B&B and turn either right OR left and find a bunch of restaurants and shopping on Magazine Street within walking distance. I was thrilled to stay at such a wonderful place for an affordable price. I already can't wait to go back.Walkability: The area is super walkable--lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

We adored our stay at Garden District Bed and Breakfast! Ray was an outstanding host and we followed several of her local recommendations for food, coffee, beignets, drinks, and sightseeing. The room was lovely and the bed comfortable. I really enjoyed having our separate entrance so we could come and go without bothering anyone. There were other guests but we rarely heard any noise. We recommend staying here to anyone visiting New Orleans!Safety: Nice area, walkable, and not in the heart of downtown so it's safe and quiet.Walkability: Right on Magazine St surrounded by cute shops and places to eat.

Beautiful, affordable option in a walkable part of the Lower Garden District. The room felt like having our own little apartment as it was quiet and we rarely saw other guests as we came and went. This is a great way to support LOCAL businesses rather than corporate hotels or predatory airbnbs!
