I dropped my car off to get a quote. Next day I get the quote that was much higher than expected (they already started repairs) is it normal to start repairs before you give estimate. They are crooks!!! They charged over 6500 and caused multiple issues that weren’t there before. They somehow managed to bust my radiator then denied it. I literally had to get my car towed lol. Now I have it back and I noticed the window on the door they “repaired” won’t roll up or down without making a horrible cracking sound. Called to complain and the manager was in a “meeting”. I just want the job done Correctly.. is that really so much to ask. These people would rather make little sissy excuses than admit when they mess up. They suck, and you would be better off taking your car elsewhere I promise.

We took our 2017 Volvo XC90 in after it was hit while parked outside my home. I took my car in, and their work was terrible... they didn't catch that the steering wheel and tires were totally misaligned; they never replaced one of the rear red reflector; afterward, the sensors were all out of whack (the dealer said Gerber did not wire the sensors in correctly); and, they didn't catch the leaking rear evaporator for the a/c... I know this would have taken more time to inspect the car to find these things, but I thought that was part of the process... still, I would not recommend Gerber Collision.

Very disappointed with the inability tocorrect what the customer will see once the vehicle is picked up. Had to bring back several times to fix what should have been done before we initially picked the vehicle up. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Below are the details of a legal letter that I sent to Gerber and they have failed to take action. Beware and find another place to take your car.My clients’ vehicle (2020 Honda CR-V) was dropped off Tuesday 6/27/2023 by appointment at Gerber. At that time, Cameron Miller-Stier told my clients that he would call with anupdate on when the car would be delivered. Cameron set my clients’ expectation that his car would be ready by the end of the same week. There was no call. My client received an Enterprise rental car on 6/27.A history of call logs to Gerber is set forth below (all of which are verified by my client’s phone records):• 7/5: message left for Cameron; no call back• 7/7: message left for Cameron; no call back• 7/10: clients were informed the car was "in re-assembly" and would be ready around the 12thof July• 7/12: called and was then told the car would be ready by Friday, July 14th• 7/14: car would be ready "next week"• 7/17: no call back, but promised would be by the "end of the day". Of note, my clients also left messages for the manager (Christian Priola) to call many times, and he has not, to thisdate, ever returned a call.• 7/18: no call back, but promised would be by the "end of the day".• 7/21: no call back, but promised would be by the "end of the day".• 7/24: no call back, but promised would be by the "end of the day".• 7/26: (with finally a return call back) saying that Gerber just started looking for a replacement door because they had been sold out. Up until this point, there was never mention of any delay in parts. My clients informed Cameron that this was absolutelyunacceptable because their rental car would be due the next day.• 7/27: After another unanswered call, my client went to Gerber in person and spoke with manager Christian Priola. My client was informed that the part was on backorder, to whichmy client expressed that the mismanagement of his vehicle repair was unacceptable. Gerber manager Priola acknowledged that he hired a new employee on July 24th because he himselfwas frustrated with Cameron's mismanagement. Clear admission of culpability. That afternoon, my client was transferred to a new case manager and within 15 minutes he called saying he found a replacement door in Alabama that they would order for him. Clearly, if the problem was solved with 15 minutes’ worth of effort, nothing was done the prior 30 days byCameron. My client asked Gerber at this time to put on the old door and return the car but they refused saying that would be too much work.• 7/28: Jordan called back saying the car would be ready the following week. My clients’ insurance only covered the rental car until July 28th. My clients were forced to pay out of pocket for a rental car because Gerber failed to order the necessary parts for 30 days after my clients dropped their vehicle off.• 8/4: My clients finally received their vehicle back.My clients are requesting reimbursement for these expenses. Had Gerber ordered the parts needed to repair theirvehicle in a timely fashion, my clients would not have had to pay out of pocket for these rental car expenses.

Brought my car in for two separate incidents through my insurance and they fixed my car like new both times. They kept me updated, and the staff were always very friendly.

Great experience working with Gerber after a hit-and-run accident caused $10k worth of damage. My vehicle looks brand new. Gerber personnel were responsive to my calls and absolute professionals throughout the process. Huge thanks to Steph — she really took care of me and I can’t speak highly enough for her professionalism.

Got my windshield replaced and I'm very disappointed with the installation. The rain moulding is wavy and uneven. When I called to schedule for it to be looked at, the guy who came was rude to me and talked to me like I'm an idiot. For $300, a new windshield should look properly seated. Even if I'm wrong, don't talk down to me or dismiss my concerns. Please send your technicians to some classes to learn basic customer service and communication skills.

Awesome spot. The first body shop I’ve ever called that you can always reach a person instead of voicemail where no one will call you back.Damon helped me and was straight up with me on everything. I had no feelings like I was talking to someone trying to rip me off. They send you texts/ call about timeline updates which was very helpful!

Jordan and Brittany were the two representatives, to help me schedule my services. And they were awesome! I informed them of my situation relating to my repairs. Time was a major concern. They assisted me with the ensurance that the payor would have as close to an accurate estimate as possible in order to make a full payment. It was all successful my vehicle was repaired the same day and the full payment was made by the payor, the next day prior to the estimate being emailed. I truly appreciate Jordan and Brittany assistance!!!Service: Body & Trim

The worst experience and biggest mistake of my life was to go to Gerber collision. They have literally become my worst nightmare. September 23, 2022 someone runs a light and hits me t-bone style on the front driver side. As a "selected" company of my state farm insurance, I chose them. The pick up my car October 3, 2022, They do not begin any type of repairs until November, I'm told only "cosmetic" damages and a fuse needs replacing...I think easy enough the insurance pays them they send me off with my car. I have to leave town the next morning for a week. I only drove my car home from the shop but when I return home it starts, but every light on the dashboard is on, while driving the car acts like its about to die until I get across town to work and it eventually dies and will not restart. I contact Gerber and initially they did not even want to look at it just brushed it off as being the battery. Side note, I am now dealing with a second manager who has replaced the one who was there when my car was taken in and the only individual I had been receiving communication from. I literally have to have this new manager contact the old for him to tell him contact State Farm and look at the car. So he does. They take in my car and he calls a "buddy" at Nissan Premiere and instead of running a diagnostic they decide from what I'm describing its the battery. Never mind me telling him I had just replaced the battery a month before my accident happen I didn't think that was it. They take my car for two weeks and I have to call for an update them tell me its ready to pick up without every saying what was wrong or showing me paperwork of what they did. I had to demand to speak with the manager to get an answer and he claimed it was the battery like they thought. I leave, drive home and to work the next morning and the same issue happens again. I take it back. He has my car sets me up with a rental says he will have it towed to Nissan Premiere for a diagnostic (what was supposed to happen the first time). After a week of no communication I have to literally drive to gerber to speak with anyone...every time I called no one was ever available. On top of that NOTHING had been done to my car. This second manager tells me how he has "a guy" with "a machine" he's going to hook up to my car to see what's going on...Long story short they come back with the issue being an air flow system box that needed to be replaced. He had it replaced and my car was "ready." During this time I'm in a rental he has now agreed to pay because I had to involve state farm to communicate with Gerber because they had become difficult to contact. State Farm told him directly they were taking too long to repair my vehicle and would be responsible for rental car payment until they at the very least diagnose what's wrong. At this point there is now a third manager involved. After picking up my car on a friday, sunday while driving home from church with my 5year old son my car dies on the highway. The most terrifying feeling ever! This third manager Christian is a total in behavior towards me and anything to do with my vehicle. Again I have to take time off and go to the location and sit and wait in the lobby until he would speak to me. It was complete chaos because they agreed to take my vehicle in and when the tow truck company shows up to Gerber they refuse to take it. An entire week goes by before I am contacted by STATE FARM the tow company wants to know what to do with my vehicle because gerber refused it. All this time I'm thinking my car is being repaired. On top of that Gerber/Christian has denied to pay for my rental even though Tony agreed. I forgot to mention when my car was being taken back to them for a 4th time I was setup to be in a rental at enterprise while there they said that previous rental had not been closed out. We has to call christian from the enterprise the manager spoke with him and he told the manager he was going to pay and allow me to rent

Five weeks into a two-week repair after being rear ended. Finally got it back looked good, very clean, but then, the backup camera failed, which is ironic since it was actually working when it went in. Let's just say it is unlikely we will do any future business with them after this is settled.

worst service I have ever had from an auto collision company. They talked on and on about whether I had insurance and then said they don't write estimates and then hung up on me.
