I’ve used Whitney Bank for 20 years and my recent experiences with them have been horrible. I’m tempted to sue them. My debit card was frozen due to one purchase that looked suspicious but I was not told I could request a rush replacement. I told over the phone (inaccurately) that I could get a temp card until I arrived at the main branch and told that was no longer true. Now apparently without warning my checking account was frozen as well. I discovered this while buying groceries. Useless

I value it with 5 stars because it was the only bank or entity that allowed us to make a currency exchange in New Orleans. It was not necessary to open or have an account to do so, as other financial institutions demanded of us and which, obviously, we did not have. The treatment of the staff that served us was exquisite. The procedures for the change, the normal ones that may be required. The acceptable exchange rate. Thank you for your help, I will recommend you on my travels.

This is a horrible bank. They aren’t even worth the convenience of physically having to walk in front of their branch every day to enter and leave the building. They have no fraud protection measures, no customer service, and no competent bankers in the building. Be prepared to wait at least half an hour to see someone who won’t really be able to help you. It would be a better bet to stuff your money in a mattress. I just want to add that they replied, pretending that they were going to do (or were capable of doing) something about my complaint, but this kind of systems failure radiates from the top down.

This building is absolutely stunning. It's the tallest building in New Orleans as well as in Louisiana and one of the tallest buildings in the deep South.

I am stranded in Italy after a robbery with no money and no credit cards an no phone. Whitney has thousands of dollars of my money and will not wire me money because they dont have a way to verify me. I will switch banks as soon as i return

FRESH & DELICIOUS I enjoy there breakfast especially the homemade biscuits with my Vietnamese ice coffee. For lunch, I make sure to get their egg rolls. If you ever dine here, it's a must that you try their egg rolls and the lunch buffet. 5 stars for their excellent customer service.

This small and unpretentious hidden gem is full of nothing but amazing food! Came here after I was recommended by a friend who works inside the building (Whitney Hancock Center) and let me tell you, the food here is AMAZING. I was held back by the buffet style food serving but DO NOT let that swindle your judgement. They offer beef & broccoli, boneless chicken, EVEN PHO, etc!!! I had a bowl of Pho and it was delicious! I swear the pho here itself is worthy of having its own restaurant; it's better than most pho joints here that we have in New Orleans and I'm not sure if anyone really knows about this spot but it's totally worth it! They have other specials not part of the buffet line that I tried, such as the delicious shrimp poboy (i believe it was limited and usually only for catering but i was lucky to get one) It was stuffed with just the right amount of shrimp (not too much-- not too little) dressed with fresh lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, and mayo. The shrimp was seasoned perfectly and made the poboy that much better! Highly recommend this spot if you're ever around in the CBD/downtown New Orleans. I only wished they closed later but they close along the time the building starts to close off around 2, other than that, this hidden gem is a must try!

So I found this spot on Yelp and was interested in trying it. Got there and it didn't offer much variety, but I was on limited time so I went with it. Won't be returning. The food was good, there just weren't many options.

Stopped here to grab something to-go and decided to get the fried shrimp platter. I must say that this is one of the best fried shrimp platters! You can definitely taste the seasoning on the shrimp. The platter comes with toast, steak cut fries & side salad. A must try!
