The staff were very friendly and responsive so I added a star. Our room was disgusting - there’s really no other way to put it. The sheets were badly stained, and when we asked for new sheets, those were stained, too (less so than the original sheets, but still gross). There were no cleaning staff after 4, so we had to change the sheets ourselves which exposed us to the horrifying mattress that looked like people had died on it - like get a mattress pad so no one has to look at that if you aren’t going to change out the ancient mattresses. The floor was sticky everywhere with patches of sticky goop here and there. The man at the front did mop it for us while we went out for drinks, and it was better when we returned, but still sticky in places with some spots. The closet was covered in mold, which I get - this is New Orleans, but on top of everything else, was off-putting. What’s frustrating is the courtyard is really cute and most of the issues I listed are highly fixable - had the floor and sheets been clean I would’ve given 4-5 stars. The room was run-down and musty, but I can deal with those if the room has at least been cleaned. The icing on the cake is when we got our car back from $50 valet parking, my battery light was on and we had to replace the battery so something must’ve been left on in my car all night. Overall quite terrible experience and particularly unfortunate because these issues are not that expensive to resolve.

We end up paying $175 for one night and it was very underwhelming. I will lead with we had 0 issues with service. We did however get stuck in our room for about 20mins while we tried to pry our door open, due to the door getting stuck for some reason. We told the front desk and they had someone come and fix it while we were out. The rest of the room is very run down and not maintained very well. While I understand it is in the French quarter it is not maintained well or even cleaned well. The closet smells like urine, the sink did not have hot water and made loud noises, and didn't drain. The tub is rusted and then painted over. The photos do not match the rooms at all. It almost looks like a completely different hotel.Rooms: Rundown, windowless, and disappointing.Noteworthy details: Not worth the price. Feels like a cheap motel rather then a chic shabby french quarter experience.

So my first night here, I was put in a room that was just absolutely filthy. The bed had dirty sheets, no towels in the bathroom, bathroom was filthy, and the hotel toiletry items in the bathroom were used. The next morning, I found slugs in the bathroom! When I reported this to the front desk staff — as well as voiced my initial concerns again, they immediately moved me to another room on the other side of the hotel. My new room was somewhat better——had new toiletries and clean towels. I selected this hotel based on the authentic appearance and the location. The front desk staff is friendly. Housekeeping staff needs to be replaced immediately!

Decent place. Is it the nicest hotel of all time no. Is the service very good yes. It is the French quarter you know what you’re getting. It is a very old building which is normal, but seems to be very well kept. The once exception is the showers, they need to re-do all of them. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay.

I loved this hotel! Great location & the staff was super friendly. It was our first time in New Orleans & they were very helpful & gave us great recommendations on where to go. I loved Karla she was super sweet & helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place, great staff, only thing that reduced the rating is that this place is not handicap friendly. While the staff tried to accommodate, it was extremely difficult for my husband to get into and out of the hotel. Now, in their defense, him coming was not planned so I was not able to request a specific room.

I transferred to this hotel, from another hotel. I was smiling, as I walked to it. As soon as I got there, I was charged an additional fee. That turned my smile, upside down! After that, I was twisted and bent out of shape. Honestly, that’s all it takes to ruin my experience in a hotel. I left a bad review a little after that. How bad of a mistake that was! I went to New Orlean’s to drink. I bought a bottle of wine, and before even opening it. (So you don’t assume I was drunk), was locked out of my room. My room had a metal key, and the lock was sticky. Thankfully I didn’t loose it!!! They probably would have charged me $2,000 for a new key? After that, I entered my room. There was a ceiling fan, and theoretically 2 chains to control it. One chain was missing, so I had the fan on. Wether I wanted it on, or not.. The checkout was at 11am, which was earlier than the first hotel. I didn’t want to ask for a late checkout. Maybe that would cost $4,000? I don’t know if the climate control worked, but I couldn’t get out of there fast enough!!! The room wasn’t very clean, but I think the cleaning staff are showing their dissatisfaction. I always leave a tip in a room, when I leave. I left a note, saying why I didn’t leave a tip. The Hotel was far from anything, and had an expensive store across the street.

I booked two rooms online, but when we arrived, they couldn't find our reservation. After at least 40 minutes of phone calls and back and forth, they told us to find a different hotel. We finally got to another hotel at midnight, and there was a message from the manager on my phone app saying he'd found my reservation and had reserved us two rooms at a sister hotel. I've spoken with the manager three times about refunding my money, but he brushes me off every time, saying he has to look into it and will call me back, but he never does.

This hotel, well located in the French Quarter, is totally dilapidated and dirty. Don't believe the photos on the site, they must have been taken a long time ago or only concern one or two rooms. We ended up with a room without a window, the door closed poorly and let in drafts. In addition, the hotel is noisy and poorly soundproofed. In the bedroom, hair everywhere in the bathroom. Everything is dilapidated or broken: electrical outlets, television, mattresses that slide towards the center, worn and stained towels. The common areas are also dirty and poorly maintainedIn short, absolutely avoid it.Rooms: Dirty, dilapidated. Everything is broken or malfunctioningSafety: People drinking and smoking cannabis in common areasNoteworthy details: Extremely dirty everywhere

Front desk midnight receptionist Michelle & Manager Kim Williams was WONDERFUL, literally went over and beyond for my friends and I this entire trip. They made my stay 10x worth it & I can’t wait to come back again!
