Not a hotel that I would recommend. The reception staff are not very helpful or friendly. We had to wait 4.5 hours for our room to be ready as we didn't want to pay 50 dollars to check in early for a room that was ready. They also charged us for the accommodation despite it already being paid for by our travel agents so we have now been charged twice. I was told by reception that the bill would be refunded but we got charged so not very honest either. We now have to wait for our travel agents to sort this out. Being a pensioner it's not ideal to pay for something twice. Just hope the Manager is going to be helpful in sorting this out.

If the French Quarters is where you're hoping to stay, this is a great spot. You're steps away from Bourbon St, and very close to anywhere in French Quarters, and a short distance walk to the boardwalk and the central business district. The staff were all super friendly, Tracy (I believe her name was) at the front desk was super helpful and nice. The rooms were comfortable and the valet staff were great too. Definitely would recommend this hotel if you're hoping to stay in the French Quarters!

So I have a few things to say about this spot. The location is great it's a block from canal street. This hotel doesn't have a microwave.... WHAT! they dont have a fridge but what good is that ?. Then the fitness center bathroom that's on a separate floor doesn't open until 7 am but the gym is 24 hrs. Considering what's going on why are the room garbage cans so small (side note). The service was great but I guess their hands were tied.Walkability: Just be prepared, everything was pretty close.

Awesome gym setup, even for weight training! The fitness center has ample room, a cable machine, multiple benches, and good vemtilation. Also, the breakfast was hearty and filling. Room was clean, staff was friendly and warm, and the location is prime! Awesome!

not a good experience at this hotel. Wifi did not work throughout the stay, slow or no responses on service requests and somehow got charged for a phone call to in-room service. Can't believe this was a hyatt

Advertised price is 206.34/night for three nights. Then they hit you with a $80.19 "Hotel Fee" and $104.82 "Taxes and Fees" (I get taxes, not complaining about that). So no we're at $268/night. But here's the kicker. Upon checking out you get a surprise $26.73/night "Destination Fee" slipped on to your bill without warning. So sketchy. This hotel is a stretch at $200. No way it's worth $300/night.

Very nice people working at this location. Service is something staff do well.We tried to eat at the bar within the hotel, but on two occasions no one would attend to us so we ate somewhere else. I even asked for menus for my table and the bartender rolled her eyes and gave me one menu. Not nice at all!We received the handicap room, wheelchair accommodating and was equipped with a lighted doorbell for the hearing impaired. I especially liked this feature since my spouse has a hearing deficiency. Unfortunately, housekeeping knocked on the door instead of using the doorbell and therefore walked in on my spouse getting out of the shower. He indicated she exited quickly after their eyes met, honest mistake. Outside of that, housekeeping staff were very friendly. I for sure left a note and a tip. The room was nice, my only complaint would be the condition of the bathroom. I understand wheelchairs can wreak havoc on tile, but they might consider updating. The bar in the bathtub is barely remaining in the wall. It is definitely not secure enough to hold anyone's body weight. The hand-held for the no edge shower was barely working along with the equipment to turn it on.Overall I would utilize this hotel again. Parking ranges from $30 to $50/day. The location is perfect for walking to anywhere in this district. It's so close to Canal and Bourbon streets in addition to restaurants. Best part is that the parking crew do an amazing job at keeping flagrants from harassing you for cash the moment you step outside. If you are vegan or vegetarian, know that New Orleans will definitely challenge your ability to find good food options. Many things are either cooked in an animal based broth (including vegetables) or have meat in it.

Not a bad location, if you don't mind the noise from Bourbon Street. Some of the "plastic bin drummers" like to set up right under our room. If you get a bourbon Street balcony: be prepared to get woken up every morning at 6am for street cleaning! Because it's one of the first hotels on Bourbon, they start bright and early right out front! The bathroom did not have a working vent and there were stray hairs all over the tub. Not a horrible stay, but next visit will certainly be somewhere else!Walkability: Quick walk to all things on Bourbon

Great locations, making many nearby locations within walking distance.
