They had the open sign on and when we walked in, it took them about 3 minutes to come to the front just to tell us they're not open. This location always having issues.

Unfortunately this place WILL SCAM YOU. I ordered from the happy hour menu which clearly states a burger is $6 and is served with a side (see attached photo). However, when I went to pay, my total was $12 because apparently fries were an extra $5. The poor waiter had to explain to me that although the other side options had no additional charge, only the regular fries were extra. This was stated NOWHERE on the menu, and was not told to me- if had I known, there was no way I would have even ordered those mediocre fries. If you are going to charge extra for a side, a restaurant should be required to indicate that on the menu. The whole was shady and frustrating.I am not usually one to leave reviews, especially when there was only one frazzled waiter who seemed to be alone in running the whole restaurant, but it is wild that a restaurant can get away with charging someone for food that the menu indicated was at no additional charge. Very upsetting, I do not recommend eating here at all.EDIT: I saw their response and followed the link, which led to nothing. Great corporate responsibility ?

Got there .. waited over 5 minutes to get a table.. waiter only talked to me for drinks, didn't get both of our drink orders.. no silverware cause it was washing in the dishwasher.. took our order then 10 minutes later told us the computer system was down and couldn't complete our order.. then in about 5 minutes later I went to to the restroom and they told my husband that they couldn't do our order because they couldn't charge us..COMPLETE FAILURE.. 0000000 STARS

Unable to modify orders online so I called in to order over the phone was told I wasn’t able to place an order over the phone I would need to do it online. I informed them about my modifications they agreed to modify manually once the order is received. Went to pick the order up it wasn’t modified. When asked about the changes we requested we were told if it’s not on the receipt they can’t do it. Communication and customer service is horrible, online ordering is not very convenient. No one is up front to greet customers you have to find someone and ask for help. I will not be returning.

Came in and some guy yelled at me, “Whatchu need?!” It gets worse but it’s not worth typing. This place always disappoints, always.

Do not order the power protein pancakes : they are soaked in oil, almost like they were deep-fried. We asked if that was normal and we were told that yes, that’s how they should be.The double-blueberry pancakes were ok but not served as they usually are (sprinkled with sugar instead of the syrup+blueberries)

This IHOP on Carrollton in New Orleans. It gets bad reviews because they do not really have a good service one waitress and a slow cook that don’t comprehend that something is wrong with the pancakes with separating as he cooked them. I went to put syrup on the pancakes and it separated, like it was a biscuit, something is totally wrong shouldn’t serve no one this, and I was not the only one that had the same issue

Ordered the chicken fried steak, and got chicken?!?!?!? Server said, it was his fault, I know it wasn't. The coffee was fresh. Trying to be understanding about it, considering it was 6am on Friday after Thanksgiving, but it is totally unacceptable for a national brand. Picture is of my chicken fried chicken. What!?

Lance White was amazing!!! As soon as we entered, he greeted us with the biggest smile and unmatched energy from the host stand. It was apparent that he was taking care of the front, pickup orders, and he was serving tables—he did it all so efficiently with great work flow. Absolutely the best customer service and best IHOP employee my entire family ever had the pleasure of meeting! You could see he made other customers smile just as much as us. Most employees at every location we’ve been to put in minimal effort and act as if they dislike their jobs, but not Lance! Seriously, one could not wish for a better employee, please give this wonderful man a raise! The pure joy he spread to us is something we will never forget.

Liars and lazy employees. They won't answer their phone. If I'm trying to cancel an order, you can't do it yourself. You have to wait on them. How utterly absurd and unprofessional! But I'd expect nothing less from a city that won't allow Hollygrove Side B to actually get deliveries after a certain time. GO TO THE GOOD AREA (as good as it can be) The Service Road!

My girls and I had been at the hospital all night. We stopped to this location for breakfast. We were so tired and Hungary. The young man at the register so nice and pleasant. The speed of the cook was Awesome. It took him less than 10mins. From a tired mother Thank You for being so nice.

We came in because there was a big banner saying "All you can eat pancakes for $5!" I had seen it on my way home from work and came back with my kids to get the $5 deal. When we got in, they explained that, actually, it is all-you-can-eat pancakes for $5 extra, after you have paid for a full meal. (!!!) Umm, after a full meal, we would be full. There was no fine print or an asterisk or anything on that banner, so it was blatantly false advertising, which was really irritating.However, I guess it did what was intended, since we stayed for a meal. It took us awhile to find someone to help us (we poked our heads in the kitchen after waiting awhile) but then the waitress was really nice. Very responsive and pleasant, and apologized for the "misunderstanding". Our food was also really quite good.That was the positive, but there are more negatives-- first, we were given plasticware to eat with. Really? Restaurant prices and plastic forks & knives! (And, despite our waitress saying it was because they were busy, the restaurant was completely empty.) Also, the coffee was served in a paper-and-plastic cup, and other drinks in disposable plastic cups. I mean, really, I expect this for McDonalds prices, but these were not McDonalds prices. The bathroom also did not have the trashcan near the door, so you could not easily open the door with a paper towel, which makes me think that the people working there first touched the contaminated bathroom door handle and then touched the food. Hopefully they have an additional handwashing station in back; I would love to hear from a manager in the comments that they do additional handwashing in the kitchen before preparing the food.

It took them 10 minutes to acknowledge us. Then, when they brought the drinks, they didn’t even ask if we needed cream. So I sat there Did not bring the water we ordered. Also, the table was full of sticky syrup. Once we put the order in, it took 45 minutes to get the food. Eggs were Luke warm. No butter on the toast and no one came back to check on us to see if we needed anything. The restaurant had only 5 tables occupied, so it was not due to being busy.
