Good: location, courtyard, rooms are basic but mostly have what you need.Bad: service was nonexistent. The code they provided us to enter the property and to enter our room stopped working on our last night. We called, texted, and emailed them and NO ONE ever replied to any of our messages. We were left out in the cold in the middle of the night to figure it out in our own. Plus, no one ever followed up with us the next day(s) to apologize. Very poor experience. There is never any staff on site at all, so if you need anything you’re basically left to figure it out on your own. If you have kids or older family members with you, this place probably isn’t worth risking it.

This quality of this location is nothing like shown on the website! The White room I reserved for my anniversary was an absolute disappointment!! There is dust behind furniture and bed headboard. The location does not appear to be cared for regularly, damaged and abandoned. We did not stay and wouldn't recommend anyone else do from what we saw. There"s no host/hostess onsite. We were the only people on the whole site which was a clear hint not to stay!!

Had a wonderful time at the Jazz Quarters. Robert and Loraine were so nice and accommodating and the hotel was within a ten minute walk from anywhere in the French Quarter.

Conveniently located just outside the French Quarter with private parking and beautiful rooms. Everything is in walking distance, and the are brand new trolleys on Rampart

We loved it at Jazz Quarters! It is beautiful, atmospheric, gated, and just a block away from the French Quarter. We stayed in the Armstrong Cottage, which is stunning and roomy. The innkeepers are so friendly and caring, and willing to help answer any questions. It is a wonderful place to return to after exploring New Orleans!

Great location and Great service. Wonderful if you have a number of couples. You can get together in the beautiful courtyard but still have your private time in your unique cottage.

For a B&B this expensive, we were surprised by being jerked around financially for room cost, lack of attention to room details and the inhospitable attitude displayed by the inn-keepers. We booked a 2-bedroom suite for 3 nights for $1500. We were very excited to visit this historic inn B&B located nicely on the edge of the French Quarter. We had heard great things about the breakfast they served. Weeks before our arrival we received notice that the Inn was discontinuing breakfast, but we could have a credit of $20 per day. (?where can you grab breakfast for 4 for $20?) We felt cheated at this surprise price increase for our trip. We checked in late, so didn't meet the Inn Keepers until the next morning. Having experienced many distinguished Inns, we were disappointed by the lack of hospitality we received - no warm greeting and no offering of sights to see. My first impression was that the Inn Keepers are very unhappy. The room was clean and pretty with fresh paint and fun furniture. The larger bedroom chandelier had 1 working lightbulb. The kitchen contained a full-sized stove with no pans or cooking utensils (just a decoration?), and no bowls for cereal. We pulled out a comforter from the bedroom chest and my boys each slept with their own comforter - they are grown men) the first night. When we returned to the room from the next days activities, the second comforter was GONE from the room, along with the bag it had been in (wierd? did not make us feel cared for). So, our two boys did not sleep as well attempting to share the one cover. My impression that the Inn Keepers don't like their job was reinforced the second morning when coffee chit-chat was the Inn Keeper complaining about guests that get the towels too dirty and they won't come clean. Really? For $500 a night could you keep the bitching behind the scenes. The B&B was really a B that gets a 'D' for Don't book this.
