Of all of the interesting galleries and shops in New Orleans, this is probably the most fun and whimsical of them all. It is absolutely impossible not to smile while you walk around looking at everything. We purchased one guy who looks like he had 30 cups of coffee for our wall and a picture of a monster putting rainbows in jars and sending them off to the world. I look at both daily.

This is an interesting store to look around. We walked around it a couple of times and saw different things each time. It was a little pricey, but if you want decor, that isn't going to look like what every other neighbor has, this is a place to check out. The lady at the register was very friendly as well. Would love to go back and see what else they come up with next time we visit.

Hands down, the absolute finest place to find one of a kind stuffed cat butts, mind you I don't think these are actually taxidermy butts of real cats... I mean former cats... like dearly departed cats not people who used to be in the musical cats... cuz that would mean they would have had a taxidermied human cat butt on the wall...and that's too silly; but if this previous sentence made sense to you then you will absolutely love this gallery.The picture is completely unrelated to my visit to the gallery other than it is part of my personal collection of food found on the street, in this case it is a lone french fry in a see-through clamshell... one of my friends said the lighting was nice...so I guess it's kind of arty and this is an art gallery and retail shop so, I guess there is a loose connection kind of in that way that we're all connected through the universe...but...don't think you can get french fries there (The Art gallery, not the universe, sorry for the unclear pronoun reference and in fact I'm sure that somewhere in the university can get french fries because they exist but we've already been over that)... And if you don't heed my advice and go there and ask for french fries and they deny you the same... Don't blame me buddy.
