Overpriced and inferior work:( Charged me over $50.00 to look at a problem that they previously fixed; supposedly warranted. Only to be told that it was something else. there are better options to have your car worked on in my opinion.

I learned about NOLA Automotive after having them look at my car, which abruptly stopped as I exited the I-10. In search of quick assistance, I had my car towed to NOLA Automotive. From their knowledgeable mechanics, I learned that the type of battery that I had been using was not correct for my vehicle. Since then, I have regularly patronized this company for issues with my vehicle. They have been accommodating with my car's upkeep and running. The repair time may take a little longer, depending on the issue, but overall, they are knowledgeable and economical.

I had my rear passenger side wheel smashed in by a hit and run and although my insurance made the process entirely too hard nola automotive repair was so helpful. Not only were they so patient with the insurance complications but, they also fixed my car in record time once insurance was cleared. I talked to Stacy the whole time and she was truly so nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

DO NOT GO HERE. Paid 275 for them to do no work on my car. I brought my car here to get my clutch replaced. They ran the diagnostic on my car. Then went to replace the clutch and said they cant do it because the bottom of my car was rusted. Keep in mind this was after they ran the diagnostics and said they would. They then charged me 275 dollars just to get my car back after doing no work on it. They also quoted me $1000 for a part that costs $250. Such a scam, go somewhere else

I brought my daughters car in and spent 2000 fixing it. Three weeks later she broke down out of town and I had to have her towed in that town. The mechanic there fixed the mass air flow sensor which Nola automotive had done three weeks prior. They have refused to call in the warranty and refund the part. They said it was my responsibility. This place refused to make good on work that they failed to fix. Very unprofessional and would NOT recommend

What a pleasant surprise to find this place. I usually go to the dealership for repairs, but got a recommendation to try this instead. Repairs completed for a fraction of the cost, they didn't try to sell me unneeded things and were honest about repairs that could wait. I will be coming back!!!

PLEASE LOOK UP BUSINESS ON BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU (BBB.ORG) Meh. I don't have many positive things to say about my experience with Nola Automotive. Took my car in on 3-10-2022 for a coolant leak issue, they did a diagnostic testing to see if there were any other issues. My car is old, check engine light was NOT on, and I wanted the diagnostic done to see how much the car was worth fixing. Poor communication and I called them a week later to see what the issue was. They told me I needed a new radiator and gave me a quote of estimated $1,300. A week later I called back and they gave me a new quote of estimated $1,700 because it was more detailed than they thought it would be, fine, I still go ahead with the repairs. Another week goes by and they are finally done with my car. They then proceed to give me another quote of $730 because spark plugs and an ignition coil needed to be replaced (where was this in the initial diagnostic?) I said not at this time and went 4-8-2022 to pick up the car. As soon I turned it on the check engine light was on and car is shaking while driving. I give them a call back and told them of this issue after I drove away. When I went in they said "I emailed you with this issue on 3/29/2022" (which is true they did). I said where was it in the initial diagnostic because I wouldn't have gone through with the service if they originally quoted me for $730 more the first time? Looked on the estimate for the $730 work and it says it was invoiced on 3/10/2022, so they knew about it and didn't tell me until the work was done for the more expensive work that needed to be done. Now I'm mad because I just wanted an honest quote to begin with.

Brought my car in because of an issue with my headlights going out repeatedly. NOLA Automotive did a diagnostic and told me nothing was wrong. Spent $1200 to get my brakes, rotars and light bulbs changed. Headlights were out again within two weeks. Called them. They changed the bulbs. Headlights are out again within two weeks. Called them. They said it's likely a wiring issue and that it would be $130 an hour for them to look at it and basically told me to bring my car to Acura. I am in law school. I didn't need to waste money to get my brakes and rotors done here when I originally went in for a headlight issue and they never fixed it. Will not return. They were polite though.

Shout out to Stacie for helping me with everything! I called around 10am to ask about replacing two of my tires for new ones. She gave me a reasonable price compared to other places I had called that morning. She told me to come before 12 so that she could order in time for the 3pm shipment. I went in around 11:30 and she checked my tires and recommended me some brands. I paid for the two tires, the balance & rotation and an oil change. Everything came out to $403, which was so much better than other places (they were asking for $400-$500 not including the oil change). So $403 is a steal! When I came in around 2:45pm, they took only about an hour and 30 minutes to finish everything. Definitely recommend coming here if you need new tires or an oil change.

Worst experience I've ever had with an auto shop, hands down. Had my car break down on me and figured since this place had seemingly good reviews and was in a convenient location it would be a good idea to have them take a look at my vehicle. WRONG. It was around 8pm when I dropped my vehicle off. I put it in the lot and kept the keys with me; planning on giving them the keys when they opened. However, when I stopped by to hand over my keys when they opened, I was beside myself to see that my car had been broken into on their lot and my passenger window was smashed, glass all over the inside of my vehicle. The receptionist walked out and first thing she said was, "well, good news, there's a glass repair place right next to us, aren't you lucky?" Huh?! Zero acknowledgement that it happened on their property. Timeline: They had my car in their custody Monday. They said they would call me later that day to let me know what was wrong and when it would be ready. No call. Tuesday I called them, and they said they hadn't had a chance to look at it, but good news! They could add a glass service and fix my window! FOR AN ADDITIONAL FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS. I told them I would think about it, but I knew I definitely wasn't paying that much for glass. They said they would call me later that day with additional updates when they looked at it that afternoon. Surprise, surprise, no call. I called again Wednesday around noon and told them not to do the glass since I found multiple shops that would fix it for less than half of what they were trying to charge me. The guy on the other end of the phone got pissy with me at the fact that I wasn't letting them charge me that much--oh, and also let me know they still hadn't looked at my car yet. He told me they would probably get to it by Friday, and I could pick it up then. I went to work that afternoon, and at 4hrs after I called them I get a call back from them. My car is fixed and ready. I was surprised with the quickness since they initially told me Friday, but at this point I was already at work, so I told them that I would pick it up at 8am the next morning when they opened. The guy on the other end was hesitant about that, telling me, "Well...its supposed to thunderstorm tonight, and your window is broken." I acknowledged that detail and asked if he would keep it in the shop overnight like he had said they did with all their vehicles they were working on. Without putting me on hold, he yells across the shop to his buddy asking if they were planning on keeping it inside during the thunderstorm that evening. His buddy yells back, "We're not fixing the fcking window, right?? Nahh, keep that sh!t outside overnight!" I rushed over there like I have never rushed in my life. Do not go to this place unless you want to be screwed over and overcharged. Worst experience I've ever had with an auto shop, hands down.

My car was making this strange rattling noise, I stopped by NOLA Automotive repair and they helped me right away. They put my car up on the rack and immediately knew what was causing the noise and fixed it on the spot. The Owner's son , Duece, was professional, accommodating, and knowledgeable. I will definitely go back for future auto needs. Great experience all around!

Received a recommendation from a friend. I'm impressed that although it is an automotive spot, the people, especially Stacy, are incredibly responsive, caring and factual. Seems like a true New Orleanian company.

Staying in New Orleans for a few months while my husband and sons are working a repair at a power plant nearby. Car started overheating. Major issue in New Orleans!! Called around and couldn't find anyone to look at it. Soonest appointment was over two months away. Called here and they were wonderful. Told me what day to bring it in and drop it off. Made appointment for 8-10am. That morning several cars were being dropped off. Took an Uber back to our rental house and waited. They ordered the radiator I had needed and I asked for the upper and lower hoses to be replaced as well, just so it was all new. They got the car fixed and ready for me to drive away a few minutes after closing. They were wonderful. Poor girl came with same issue of overheating and was desperate. They helped her get her car cooled off and were still at it when I left. Great people, did exactly as they promised. Will forever be a fan!!!

Had an urgent situation where my brakes needed to be looked at before I could safely drive my car anywhere. Post Ida, there were pretty much no options. This was not only one of the first shops to open up, but they got me in quickly and my brakes fixed in less time than they had initially said. I found them to be not only fair and honest, but really pleasant and easy to communicate with.
