It’s hard to find a hairstylist who manages my natural curls, so Kimberly at Lux was a great find. She not only manages my curls, but does wonders with my color. I walk out the salon a satisfied, happy customer every time.While I am a simple cut, color and go person, Lux is a progressive salon that offers a variety of services. They serve an eclectic clientele that’s reflective of the neighborhood.

I got my haircut here and Kimberlee did a phenomenal job. She was very patient and deliberate. Had a fun and friendly conversation too!The prices are reasonable and they follow a good social distancing and covid protocol. Your temperature is checked when you walk through the door.

Erin is the most talented waxer I have ever met. She's incredibly kind and funny, and knows how to put you at ease while making it seem like your idea all along. She's truly a gift and I would 100% recommend going to her for all your waxing needs! Additionally they are on it with covid protocol and protections. Everyone is masked up and distanced, not a nose in sight.

Years ago I used to get my haircut by Agnes and it was amazing. Then when visiting this weekend I decided I needed a trim. Agnes has opened her place and I got my hair cut by Kimberlee and she is great!!! She listened to my vague wishes and articulated them and did exactly what I wanted without knowing exactly what I wanted. Can't wait til my next visit.

New to town, I booked an appointment with Kimberlee for a haircut that adjusted the style and grow out of my long pixie and was delighted with the results. Three weeks later and I'm still in love with it, plus I went back to have her do my color. What she suggested was a little more edgey than I'd done in a while, but she did such a fantastic job. Every time I wash and style it I stop and think how much I love it — something I've never done with any other stylist. I wish I could take her with me to every city I live in!

Kat works solo on Mondays. Quiet atmosphere, relaxing, and she is an absolute GENIUS with color. Especially blondes! I was going to her at her salon in California, and now she's here!
