My experience was pleasant until new people starting working front desk. High turn over rate and management really sucks. They do not care if someone dies or anything, they are just worrying about getting paid. I have a lot of services that I want to get rid of to cancel my member ASAP but they only give you 60 days to use them. The problem is you can only give away 1 service a month so that's how they keep you lock in. I have challenged management about their cancel policy and you get a unprofessional email response. Unfortunately, this location is the closet to me, if I could transfer to another location I would do in a heart beat. Whatever happed to the customer is right, not anymore at this location, its about money. Worst decision I could have ever made, getting a contract with this company.Unhappy

Had a great experience here when visiting from out of town. Martha did a wonderful job of getting rid of the painful knots I had in my neck and shoulder. My 60 minute massage was just what I needed. The business was clean, convenient, easy to book on line and reasonably priced compared to other spas in the area.

The place is clean and staff is very nice! Just a little disappointed because they tell you to get there 15 mins early to accommodate getting undressed. Didn’t go in to my massage until 5 minutes after the set appointment time and the therapist ended my massage 10 mins before the full hour. Nice place but disappointed with the timing of things

This was supposed to be a place for relaxation but has left me highly stressed out. My mother and Sister are members at this place (not any more after this) so I went to try it out and schedule an appointment, I was really tired, I’ve been working too Much and needed some relaxation. It was a Saturday and schedule for Monday 3pm. Sunday evening I realized I was going to have an unexpected meeting and was not going to be able to make it, so I called on business hours a few times on Sunday and nobody answer. I said well, I’ll call tomorrow then, and I did first thing in the morning. They said they will cancel my appointment but will keep the 120$. For which I was extremely surprised, I never heard about such policy, and if there was they surely should had pointed it out very well before letting you put your credit card in. I would have definitely make an extra effort on Sunday if I would have known. Anyway, We tried my sister or mother to use my hour, but they said no, I even tried to make it to my appointment, but they say no neither ,because it was already canceled, I said can I reschedule, they say no, unless I paid extra 120$. So, no service, lot of stress, not even a inch of empathy or respect, both from the front desk person and manager Ashley. Super rude and unwilling to look for any type of solution. They didn’t even cared about loosing 3 costumers . 2 of which have been faithfully coming for a long time. So now, very stressed and with 120$ less.

I was offered and accepted a monthly membership while out of it after a great massage. I accepted after confirming I could use my membership anywhere and cancel easily. later when I tried to cancel my membership I found out I wasn't able for a year. I've kept it, though not able to use it every month because I'm a full time traveler. Now that I'm trying to cancel, over a year later, they can't do it over the phone or email me the form. instead I'm told I'll have to contact corporate by email. I asked to have corporates email sent to me by email, and she was not able to. Terrible customer service, unspecified terms of the contract, and exploitative sales. The therapists are great, so it's a shame they are attached to massage envy.

I had a wonderful experience. I was greeted with a warm smile and was guided to the waiting area. My massage started on time and Courtnie was amazing. Would recommend coming here for a massage.

When for an hour facial it was awful ? in pain the hold time she had ansilver tool that press very hard in my face and do not have bumps in my face. The supervisor or manager very rude and disrespectful black women warranting: His had a black old man she so quickly to point out she not racist. She racist towards black women I guess we remind her of all the women he cheated on her with sad you will wate your money and time here you going to relax your body but they will stress you out over here, STOP, DONT WATE YOUR MONEY BOOK SOME WHERE ELSE

I live in Texas and have been a loyal member of Massage Envy, since 2005. I attempted to book an appointment at the Uptown location in New Orleans and was told I had to pay $20 in addition to what my massage could cost, because my membership in Texas was $20 less than the New Orleans location's membership fee. I have been to this location several times over the years and never had to pay anthing extra only the price of my massage. When I agreed to pay the $20 I was asked for a credit card number. I didn't feel comfortable giving my credit card number over the phone and asked to pay when I got there, which was 1.5 hours before the appointment. I was told I could not. I have traveled to many places and have used Massage Envy and never had to pay any upcharges. I went to Nola Bliss Massage and had great massage. Your lost Massage Envy.

I got my first Massage Envy massage and I wish I could've saved myself the time and money. I ran about 4 minutes late to my 5:00 appointment and when I arrived it took every bit of 2 minutes to do my check in and areas of concern paper work. I went to the back waiting room and SAT for at least 10 minutes before going to my massage room. Waiting for the instructions and the therapist to leave the room costed about another 5 monitors at the very least. My massage was nice which is the only reason for the 1 star. It felt quick and then I'd seen it ended right at 5:59 so it WAS quick. I felt very cheated especially since I'm a college student trying to find a method of relaxation. $70 for a 30-40 minute massage. That being said, I will not be returning to any massage envy and would not recommend it to anyone. It is not worth it, find a smaller less commercialized massage business.
