My old phone died and I was in need of a new one. I had an LG and loved it but I wasn't so attached to it and was open to a new and different brand. The young man that helped me out sold me a phone and done. I was a little miffed that he didn't show me anything about the phone. But I later found out he has only been working there a couple of months. so forgiven. I went back to the store and here things get bad. the step leading into the store is at least 12 inches high, the building code is no step should be higher than 9 inches. I am 81 years old and when I tried to step up I turned my ankle and ended up flat on my back. The clerk and a customer saw me fall and came to my rescue. The clerk working there the longest is Abraham, he is a delightful man. very helpful and very knowledgeable about the phones they sell. So because of Abraham I gave it 5 stars but the issue with the step gets 1 star. Something really needs to be done before someone gets hurt badly. I intend to contact the building owner. This is the store on Newton in Algiers.

On or about September 10th, I purchased a newly relaeased ZTE Zmax Pro from MetroPCS on Gause Blvd. in Slidell Ms. on the third day i watched the phone slowly discharge and then completely die, and it would no longer charge. i returned to the store where i purchased the phone, whereupon they stated that i would have a brand new phone within 3-5 days, in store because it was a brand new phone and under warranty and it was definitely a manufacturer's defect. they had this phone in stock but apparently needed the "A.R." to issue stock that could replace my phone, and would not immediately replace my phone. i waited the 3-5 days and never received a call, when i went back to the store they said i had to call customer service. i called customer service: their representatives told me that i was within the 7 days or one hour talk time and to go get a refund from the store. i made an attempt at getting a refund, whereupon i was told refunds were not given. i called customer service again and was told to go back to the store and try again and if i was denied a refund i was to call customer service again and they would enforce this. when i went back Sam (the store manager) told me my phone would be in the next day. this was Thursday September 22nd. the next day my phone did not come in and they did not tell me this until after 5 pm i had gone into the store around 3 and was told it was on the truck and would get there soon however when i returned to the store later that afternoon they said it was not there and as it was after 5 on a Friday, the only thing I could do was once again make my third call to customer service who did not answer in a timely fashion and i had another engagement to attend so i let to let my call drop. Saturday i made yet another call to customer service, as that my phone which was guaranteed to be there on Thursday had still not arrived whereupon after asking to get transferred to a supervisor, i was handed to a lady claiming to be the department manager for customer service. she said that there was no one higher to talk to in her company, that none of her customer service representitives ever told me that i would receive a refund, that refunds were not given, that i was lying about having talked to a representative that said i could walk into the store and hand the phone over to the clerk and they would authorize a refund. she also told me that i pretty much would get a phone when i got my phone. on Sunday i was told by the Mandaville store manager that he was familiar with the case and that he was going to call Sam and see what was up and if he could expedite this, he never called me back. monday the Slidell Store told me the phone still had not come in, however Sam left early and they would call him to find out what to do or have the DM call me, they never called me back. today is tuesday, i still dont have a phone, and they told me they dont have the right to call the DM that only a manager can call them and they would have the manager call me about it. i still have not heard anything from them and i still have no phone.
