Where else can you get gas station pizza at 3 a.m. in the morning? It gets 4 stars just for that. But I will warn you, GET IT HOT. Don't eat their ready pizzas.

So I ordered late night pizza through a third party app last night. I was thoroughly impressed and felt compelled to do more research. Ultimately I found out that "mothership pizza" is actually a ghost kitchen operating out of brown derby. while this is a surprise, the pizza was awesome. I would definitely order again, but this time directly from brown derby.

Brown Derby is rightfully well noted for their carry out buffet that offers a lot of great choices everyday which they serve in huge portions at a value price. There really isn't anywhere to sit down and enjoy your meal after you purchase it so this is strictly a carry out only place. Brown Derby is also a convenience store and offers an assortment of all manner of other items so you can do a bit of shopping before getting in the often long line to enjoy some of the food from this spot. This is a very popular spot in the area so the line for the food can be longer especially around breakfast and lunch so plan accordingly.

I stopped here for lunch on the fly. I got the Salisbury steak and mash potatoes. The food was good. The meat was thick, juicy, and flavorful. The mash potatoes were creamy and tasty as well. There were other down home food options like baked chicken, white beans, stew chicken, smothered okra, etc. When placing your order, you have the option to order a small plate or large. I opted for the small this time. The meal also comes with a free canned soda, which was pretty cool. This is cool place to jet in and out of if you want something hearty to eat.

If you're ordering online, this is the same as Mothership Pizza AND the Flatbread Bungalow. What I ordered was absolutely disgusting and I had no way to get my money back because it's a ghost restaurant. I'd be willing to think they had good gas station pizza, but what I paid for way way too expensive for what I got.

I visited this store accompanying a friend on a Door Dash pickup from Mothership Pizza(which is actually Brown Derby). I was told that I had only 2 choices, purchase 2 packs/.99¢ BLK Cigars or an entire box for $20. Don't know whether he needs basic math skills or if he thought I did because his purchasing rules or math doesn't add up.

Mothership Pizza is the EXACT same store as Brown Derby Pizza, both list 3402 Tulane Avenue, New Orleans, LA, as their address yet do not acknowledge that they are one and the same on UberEATS per my expertise and apparently on Door Dash per another reviewer's. I had a horrible experience previously with Brown Derby's God-awful anti-pizza and vowed never to order from them again. However, as I've learned, Mothership Pizza is nothing but a facade and the EXACT same horrible pizza. If that isn't duplicitous and deceptive enough, the photos used by Mothership Pizza featuring their product are flat out LIES AND MISREPRESENTATIONS. Note this complaint has zero to do with the pandemic, I remain sympathetic to small businesses. But my Brown Derby experience occurred last year and the mere idea of shucking and jiving and neither clearly informing consumers that it's a re-branding nor depicting honest photos of actual product is indefensible and just wrong. NEVER again will anyone I know go down this rabbit hole.

I have been here in the past, and found the employees to be friendly enough, the gas a bit on the high side, and the lot easily accessible to enter and exit. The station is very well lit at night.During the current time of Covid-19, I get that companies need to diversify in their endeavors to make money. Capitalism. I was working from home one day and wanted pizza without going with the national chain. I hop on doordash and find a place called Mothership Pizza. I see that there are not many options on the menu, and see that the physical address is in a place where I do not remember a physical pizza place in the area. I went ahead and ordered. While the pizza did not taste as if it were once frozen, it wasn't quite homemade. I have included links for the doordash page and the google maps link to show that there are no pizza places in the immediate vicinity. Who am I to judge? You do you.

I work in the goodwill building and wanted cheese grits. I always see this store next door and today was gave it a shot. I walked in and thought...eh. Lol but proceeded to the food. I was happily greeted, the staff was really nice. The options for breakfast were great! There were many different meats for grits and gravy. I just wanted grits and cheese with eggs, so that's what I got. I had to wait for the fresh eggs to come out which was plus. Moral of the story is...it's a good breakfast and I'll be going back. I think they'll get to know me by name. Lol

Stopped in September 30th at about 8 o'clock a.m.Thought I'd grab me a simple hot breakfast (grits eggs and smoke Sausage) this was Horrible. All of the breakfast food must have been prepare and refridgraed the day before, everything was cold. The grits were cold lumpy and scorched , smoked sausage iced cold and eggs were barely room temp. Truly unbelievable. I would not suggest this place to anyone For breakfast or lunch.

Brown derby is unique . I've never been let down and I've always had amazing food there . I'm not sure what people expect from a gas station/ convenience store , but this place is Legit and is full of charm for sure. You can get a meat and two sides for lunch , and finish it for dinner. And it isn't more than 8$, plus you get a drink to go with it! They always have good ole southern food. Turkey necks , mustard greens , Mac and cheese, etc. Its one of my favorite spots .
