Called to get information and absolutely useless and not helpful. Woman rep didn’t even attempt to help me with narrow down model I was looking for. All responses were all TF glasses are black. 7 out of 9 are square. Get I get a person that can assist and that wants to work.

I usually make an appointment to get an eye exam and purchase a yearly supply of contact lenses at Walmart. This year when I called, I was placed on hold for 15 minutes. While waiting, I found MyEyeDr. Online and easily booked a same day appointment. I will never go back to Walmart. The entire experience was easy and pleasant. My doctor, Dr. Dugan, was thorough and incredibly knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions and helped me to select the best lenses for my needs. Shikira checked me out after the appointment. She was very well versed in the bundling discounts and rebates that I qualified for. The entire experience was seamless and enjoyable! I would 10/10 recommend the New Orleans, St Charles, location.

Dr. Dugan is amazing!! Her expertise is fantastic and I feel super confident and accommodated in her care. On the other hand, the new “overflow scheduling” is really poor customer service for clients. If you don’t confirm your appointment, another client can schedule in your appointment slot and then you have to reschedule. Even though I didn’t confirm btw, I got a text the day before my appointment saying “see you then” so this further supported my theory that confirming wasn’t a requirement. When I showed up, they tried to reschedule me but thankfully, Dr. Dugan worked me in. In the future, if policies change that are going to impact clients or care, then there should be overt communication about it. Seems like the only people this is benefitting is MyEyeDr; certainly not the patients or the care team.

Great experience at the office at S. Carrollton/St. Charles. Everyone from start to finish was friendly, professional. Largest selection of glasses styles I've ever seen. Highly recommended!

Place is terrible. They con you into $40 retina images instead of doing the work and dilating your eyes and actually examining what’s going on. It’s become a sales spot. They don’t care about their patients hence the turnover of optometrists.

I’ve been coming to my eye Dr for several years. Dr. Dugan has done a great job with my complex eye conditions! Ron who is part of customer service there always is extremely helpful and goes above and beyond

Out of town visitor with broken pair of eye glasses, one day before Christmas closure. This business took the time & made the effort to help when others said not possible. Their staff searched & found a frame they could mount my existing lenses in but only after some edge shaving & shaping and a trip across town to get the frame. Same day I walked out with eye ware that allowed me to drive the 2000 miles home. 30% off the frame cost & no charge for labor.

They called and canceled and rescheduled my appointment three times, all within a couple of hours of the time due to scheduling, doctors schedules, computer problems, etc. If I didn’t need this wheelchair on my face, I would not have been desperate enough to come back here. This is what happens when a clinic gets bought out by a company is profit-focused and unconcerned with the care of patients. The front desk could not care less. Managers could not care less. Corporate clearly only cares about pushing bad service and selling cheap frames for a significant mark-up. Go ahead and find a local optometrist and support local businesses.

I’ve always been happy with the doctors here and that still holds. There were times when the staff wasn’t the easiest to deal with but my recent visit was a great improvement in that area.I only dropped one star because they are a bit expensive but as I said, I like the doctors and on this visit the staff was very professional and friendly. That’s why I’ll return.

I came to the uptown for my first eye exam, it was a great experience. Cornaie at the front desk explained my insurance benefits to me and even helped with my frame selection. Dr. Dugan was very thorough and knowledgeable. Ron explained the difference in lenses and what my insurance covers to help maximize my benefits. Overall the entire experience was great and I can’t wait to return next year!

Some doctors are better than others. Recently, I went to get my annual eye exam and this was certainly not one of the better experiences.My exam was fine enough, but at the end what the doctor was saying my prescription was didn't seem right so I questioned her to which she assured me that it was fine and she knew what she was doing.I asked for my contacts to be sent to my house, however, they were sent to the office. After I picked them up and took them home, I noticed one of my eyes was the wrong prescription. I then called the office on a Friday to which they informed me I needed to come back in to get my eyes rechecked. In the meantime, I asked them if I could have some trial lenses since ya know... I needed to see. They said they'd call me back. Come Monday, I still had not heard from the office, so I called again. They said they would call me back. Later that afternoon, I called again since I had not heard from them to which the person on the phone was clearly annoyed with me and said I would receive a call back. Lone behold, Tuesday morning arrived and no call back.I definitely will not be going back to MyEyeDr.

After recovering from a fully detached retina in one eye, Dr. Dugan took the time necessary to fit me with the perfect eye prescription. Dr. Dugan, I really appreciate your efforts in helping me see clearly. The office is well run with a friendly staff. Thank you MrEyeDr, St. Charles Avenue.

Excellent service and selection! My husband recommended this place after an expensive disaster at another eye doctor. Everybody who helped me here- from the technician to the doctor to the sales team- went above and beyond. I’m new to having glasses so the eye pressure test and exam were bewildering but they were super patient and informative. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Melissa Dugan is phenomenal. Thoughtful, clearly invested in her patients and their well-being, and always looking to improve both your results and experience. My husband and I returned to this location after a brief hiatus and dissatisfaction with the care provided under prior management only because of her, and we recommend her to literally everyone.
