I'm usually not a big fan of guided tours, especially for museums, but this might be my one exception. Grace was fantastic and she's what really made this museum extra awesome. I didn't know much about pharmacy nor did I think I wanted to learn more about it but I was completely captivated by the way she taught us all of the history.

Grace was our guided tour guide and she did an amazing job at giving us the history of medicine. The overall experience was great and It was interesting being able to see the development of the tools used.

My fiancé & I fell in LOVE with the Pharmacy Museum! Rose & the rest of the staff made our wedding the BEST event of the year! It was absolutely perfect! They worked amazingly with our vendors and solved a huge problem for us at the last minute! All I can say is WOW! A perfectly beautiful venue & wonderful staff! A night to remember! Thank you for helping us make a memory of a lifetime!PS. For those interested…it comes with a great ghost story! ❤️

This museum is delightful. We highly recommend the private tour. Ours was lead by Grace, who is incredibly knowledgeable and a fantastic story teller.

Grace was absolutely enthralling. I highly recommend the guided tour with her. So interesting. Just came for the old bottles (my dad and I like to dig them up) but found out a lot more about the history of New Orleans than I ever thought I would. I could listen to Grace talk all day about anything

Loved this little museum! May be small but it is jammed packed. We did the self guided tour. Lots the collection of items and all the facts. Everything from pharmacy to some obstetrics and makeup. As a nurse and history fan I loved it. Definitely recommend dropping by in you are in the area. Took us about an hour. The courtyard is also beautiful.

This place is SO COOL. I did the guided tour, which requires a reservation on their website and costs $15 for 45 minutes. The guided tour is available on certain days and starts at 10:00am before the museum opens to the public. No food or drinks allowed. Otherwise, admission is $10. There was a big crowd for the guided tour. Photography is OK. I believe my tour guide was Grace. She was very knowledgeable and funny, maybe sarcastic, but in a good way. Her tour was focused on the items on the first floor of the museum and the courtyard. There is an exhibit on the second floor, which is more medical, but she doesn’t cover that. There is a small gift shop.Overall, I am glad that I did this. I recommend this to anyone interested to visit.Pro tip: definitely tip your tour guide!

The New Orleans Pharmacy Museum is unlike anything I've ever seen before. it was $10 a ticket when I went and completely completely self-guided. The woman in the front was very nice and we were able to purchase our tickets incredibly quickly and get all the info we needed. The tour, being completely self-guided, can get a little long. It didn't get too crowded, but you definitely have to stop and read the very interesting information that's offered to you. The downstairs was crazy enough as it is, but when you head upstairs things get even more wild. It's just so interesting to see how far medicine has come. don't get me wrong, the self guided aspect of the museum can get a little tedious but overall it's incredibly interesting. Definitely fits in with the spooky New Orleans vibe. I'd say check it out when you're here. It's an hour or two well spent and I'll guarantee you're gonna learn a few things.

Grace, our guide was very knowledgeable, kept us entertained, and taught us very well. She took us through the beginning of medicine, all the way to potions and medical practices. The museum has so much to look at, including a second floor. Each item in the pharmacy had labels that were dated, and most had explanations as to what they were! I was shocked the whole time.Definitely recommend this tour.
