I got the quote from Tony to replace the faucet and install "Reversed Osmosis System", assuring me it wouldn't cost more than what I and him were committing to: $280 to $300.When the installation was completed, I found out they used their own part and asking for more than $300, saying it was not included in the quote. Well, you have to say it before you install your part, I would confirm with my husband, but they didn't. They also wanted to charge more for labor because it took longer than what was undissipated.I refused to pay more than $300, because my husband who agreed to this price felt like some companies just take advantage of you by not keeping their promises. It seemed like it was okay with Tony. He never told me he would not give me a warranty or not provide any services for us. I was happy with the work they did at that time. It took much longer than I expected, which really messed up my workday. Also, the plumber didn't flush the water before connecting my kitchen faucet's spray head. So, all the dirt went through the brand-new spray head. Otherwise, he was very nice and had a good conversation with me. Per Tony's recommendation they got rid of the air pipe which was seating on the counter next to my kitchen faucet. It's been there since this house was built 9 years ago, but since we were installing a new filtered water faucet near my kitchen faucet. He said there is no need to make another hole but use the existing hole of the air pipe. I would think it was there for a reason (since everything in our kitchen is original and only 9 years old), but I trusted his professional opinion.Just recently while using my garbage disposal, I had some water coming out from the hole where my new little Osmosis water faucet is. Which is the location of the old air pipe. It only happened once, but I am not sure now if there is a problem, and why am I getting water from the hole which has a different purpose now. Hope water from my garbage disposal did not get mixed with our expensive "Reverse Osmosis System".I called the office and asked them to come out to make sure everything was installed correctly. They wanted to charge me for their visit, in order to check on their own work, which I refused to pay, and then refused to provide the service saying that the warranty is already expired and even if it was not expired, they still wouldn't come out because I didn't pay their bill in full. I was never told they charge per hour. I would never hire them. I was never told there was a 30-day warranty.I was never told by Tony I wouldn't have a warranty because I refused to pay for a part which I have never seen or told until after the fact. Office manager Pat, I wish you all the best and hope you can improve your service, and don't overcharge your customers, keep your word, and take responsibilities for your mistakes, because there're a lot of other companies out there! I was very moved with the story of your company and was happy to use your services, but sorry: It is so disappointing that I have to hire another plumber to diagnose and fix the problem you created. Please don't try to change the story. Every word in this review is true. I don't trust your company anymore and never want to do business with Pete's Plumbing. Very poor customer service!

Pete and his team got me out of a plumbing pickle, and I am tremendously grateful for their truly professional approach to all aspects of the job. Pete himself is so calm, thoughtful, responsive and warm, and his wealth of experience and deep expertise resolved a tough situation quickly and thoroughly. His plumbing crew was respectful and efficient, and his office folks (here's looking at you, Mickey!) were outstanding. I highly recommend Pete's Plumbing and will turn to them for any future needs.

We had used Pete's plumbing to change our water heater several times over 30 years. Each time Pete's Plumbing always offers superior service. We decided to go with the tankless gas water heater and ask Pete to replace the old failed tank water that ran for 11 years. After some issues arose with the installation, Pete took care of the problem and rectified the situation with extreme concern. It's always a pleasure to work with Pete in handling our water heater installations.

Pete's guy came, called his boss who listened to the roar of the heater, took my money, promised to return. After multiple calls, a man called and said the squirrel cage motor was broken, and unavailable, so they would bring me a Rheem heater for $4200. Today, a real plumber came, took the vent off, re-placed it, put a loop in the condensation tube, and, voila!, problem solved. There is no squirrel cage motor.

David was very professional and knowledgeable. He came out and got my fireplace working. He was also very informative, telling me what I need to do with my fireplace to keep it working.

I have used Pete’s plumbing for a number of plumbing repair jobs and for detailed bathroom renovations including tile work and new fixtures. They are meticulous, professional, and fairly priced. I will use them for every plumbing repair and or renovation I ever do.

I called on Monday, Oct. 31st, to have a clogged pipe fixed. I was told Thursday, Nov. 3rd, 12-4pm, was the earliest available. I agreed. I had to cancelled two clients to be available during that 4 hour time frame. I even called to confirm at 2:30pm on Nov. 3rd that the plumber will arrive by 4pm. Connie said yes. I called again at 4:07pm. She told me he will call me. He called at 4:38pm to inform my boyfriend he is behind schedule and has 3 more jobs before coming. I had to be back to work for 5pm. I’m not cancelling anymore clients. This is completely disrespectful of my time. I understand if you get behind. A phone call is a must. Very poor service!!

Avoid this company at all costs. At Lowes, I scheduled an appointment to receive a quote for a tankless water heater installation with Pete’s. The appointment was scheduled from 5-6pm the same day, but then they called me and asked to make it for 8-12pm the next day. 4 hour window when I originally had a 1 hour window. But I agreed and took off work and waited for them. I asked the company if they could come closer to 8am and they said yes. By 9:30, no one had arrived so I called for an update. Connie said she would ask the plumber to come by 10. At 10:20, he still hadn’t arrived so I asked her You need to compensate me immediately. It’s been over a year and if I pursue legal action I will do everything I can to make sure Cox terminates their entire agreement with TNT. I work in economic development and am connected to Cox executives. an update. She said he would arrive in 20 minutes (which would be 10:40). Apparently he arrived at 10:32 but I was in the bathroom. I called back at 10:40 (8 minutes later) and asked if he could come back and was told no because he is busy, which I understand, but so am I. I took a half day from work to wait three hours for him to arrive. They then rescheduled for 8-12pm the next day, but after seeing the low star review I left (without a comment) they called and said they weren’t coming at all. I explained that 3 stars could become 5 depending on how the appointment goes. Their response was nope, we’re not coming. So now it’s a 1 star review with details.Lowes also said the charge was $350, while Pete’s says they start at $799 for tankless water heater installs. Not sure why there’s a discrepancy but either way, they need to make Lowes aware of their minimum.

I called several plumbers in New Orleans to do work on the duplex I'd recently bought. Most of them didn't even bother to respond. Those who did respond asked what kind of work I needed done, then said they'd "get back" with me about scheduling a time to come out for an estimate, and then never calked back. That's what happened with Pete's Plumbing. The guy who took my initial call asked me to email the inspection report detailing the plumbing work that was needed, so I did. I got no response, so I called the office to see if they'd gotten my email. The person who answered seemed distracted, kept asking me to repeat myself, and then finally told me to email the report again, because she couldn't find it. So I emailed the report a second time. No response. I called to ask if they'd gotten the report. I was told they did receive the report and that someone would get back with me "soon." That was over two weeks ago. Don't waste your time with these guys, as they seem to be about as disorganized and unprofessional as most of the other plumbers in NOLA I have tried to do business with.

I have used Pete's on several issues since I moved here in 2012. The work has always been of high quality. Their cost is higher than other plumbers, but their work and cleanup is excellent. NOW, however, AN ISSUE HAS ARISEN, that, 2 years after they completed there work, is problematic. During a kitchen renovation, I hired them to also install an emergency shut off valve near my water meter. According to national building code, there should be a shutoff valve between the supply valve and the house, 24" from the supply valve. They did so, but did it improperly. Recently, when they were not available, another plumber used the valve and noted they had installed it BACKWARDS. The significance being that the house lines cannot be bled for work in the hose. I called and told them their Master Licensed Plumber put it in backwards. They offered to come out and reinstall it properly, BUT ID HAVE TO PAY THEM $225.00 TO CORRECT THEIR MISTAKE!

I have had 2 people come “inspect” our water heater the first one admitted he knew nothing about it, said we were gonna reschedule to someone else who knows about it, weeks gone by never received a call. I reached out again, and a Hispanic man came (which is good cause our first language is Spanish) said he knew everything about it and was just gonna come back with the things he needed but I never heard anything back. Like what is going on?Service: Boiler repair

Our plumber John from Pete’s was incredibly patient explaining the intricacies of the new tankless hot water heater installed yesterday. John arrived on time and performed an expert installation. The entire experience has made us new loyal Pete’s clients.

I'm about to call Pete's for service and see questionable reviews. My guess is they're all from one disgruntled someone. But, I've used Pete's for the last 9 years and use them for everything from hot water heaters to pipe breaks to gas lines. They've even done light construction for us more than once. They're about to repair some leaks for me. I wouldn't call anyone else.
