Unusual setup: a lot of self-ordering (which takes awhile but must save them costs), parallel with traditional ordering. Bags, utensils, etc. then get grabbed near the door. But a great value, especially for the French Quarter. And the staff were friendly and patient.

Popeye's continues to go downhill. Service is pathetic at most locations. Their red beans and rice used to be so good. Now the rice is always dried out and chewy and the container is about two-thirds full.

Pipetas is the fried chicken of the south, they sell fried chicken, drawer fries that are the best, also beans, there is spicy and non-spicy chicken, it is overflowing with oil, but it is open until late at night, so at least it is safe, away from the hustle and bustle of Borbon

When they say only certain people from select communities only eat fried chicken know that I saw individuals from ALL communities. That’s how fresh and hot the chicken was. The manager ( a woman with gold teeth, could have been a little nicer).

The GHETTO! Now… it’s Popeyes right… shouldn’t expect much. But a tourist location. I came her twice.. the first time was good. Service was fast, food was fresh… it was also earlier in the dayChileeee, came this evening Sunday night.. one guy behind the line doing mobile orders and pick up couldn’t figure out what beverage was in front of him. Opened the cup and smelled it.. then they have the sides pre-packed in a heating shelf. No guard for customers not to grab… whelp! The two young kids in front of me went ahead and grabbed sides and put it in their pockets.. The cashier… moving slow as a snail. Young boy by the condiment area?? just standing there…Definitely a night and day experience. In the food industry, it’s evident of the difference btwn openers and closers…and at this location that theory is true.

Super cool Popeyes location. Right on Canal St on the corner of the French Quarters. The service is fast and the food was delicious. Definitely worth checking it out when in New Orleans.

Worst service ever unfortunately. Been there twice and every time they are extremely impatient. This time I have my order already ready, and I can see the name on the bag I asked them they didnt even bother to check it. Asked twice they didn’t answer. I understand they are very busy, but the amount of time they rejected me not giving me my food is crazy. If they turn their head and handed me the bag that would be amazing. But they just we don’t have your order and told me go away.The food was ok to good tho.

SO SAD :(So terrible !I didn’t even get anything special. I got spicy tenders - were not spicy? Maybe I got the regular on accident ? Thought it would be good since it’s based in “Louisiana”I’ve never been more sad when I was so excited to eatBig bummer :(

Unorganized and unprofessional. Never coming back here again. The restaurant gave my huge order to someone else and adamantly refused to fix their mistake when I came up with the order confirmation in hand.The manager claimed I gave my information to someone else. Which is funny since when you walk up, they offer up every name available for pick up. Any villain could steal food with this process. Your lack of system should not be my consequence. And your poor response shows that you this happens frequently. Instead of taking accountability, they blame the guest. Wild.Do yourself a favor and visit an actual local restaurant in the FQ for fried chicken or visit the location on St. Charles. This location and this team are not deserved of good business.
