I almost don’t want to write this review because it’ll make it harder to book an appointment with her, but Keeley deserves her flowers. I hadn’t been to Rocket Science in a while since I’d moved away, but now that I’m back in town I desperately needed a professional cut and color. Keeley used to do my hair (and even my mom’s years ago), so I booked with her.
I have course hair with tight waves and a lot of curls that I’d been cutting and coloring myself because I could never find anyone who could get it right (and after a horrific cut at another salon) and let’s just say my last DIY attempt went a little overboard. So you can imagine what Keeley was working with here.
No exaggeration: she gave me the BEST cut and color I’ve ever had in my life and I’ve had plenty, including some very expensive ones at some top celebrity salons. Since my appointment last Saturday, more than three people have stopped me to ask who does my hair because the curls are popping and the color is stunning.
If you have wavy or curly hair or short hair (she gave me the cutest cuts back when I was growing out my pixie) Keeley is the one. Thank me later.

I had a fantastic experience at Rocket Science! The salon is clean, welcoming, and has a great atmosphere. My stylist, Marisa, was amazing—super professional, friendly, and truly listened to what I wanted. I left feeling confident and refreshed. My fiance said it was one of the best haircuts I ever had!

I've been seeing Lan for the past year or so and would be remiss not to give her credit for teaching me how to *actually* use a blow-dryer. Changed the game. Also--for the first time I'd ever had my hair cut with a straight razor (to very fun, very cool, very chic results).

Wanted to book an appointment. Had to fill out a form online for an account and the thing repeatedly told me my mobile number was invalid so eventually I gave up. I'll have to look for another salon. Bit weird to put up barriers to people making appointments and not a great sign for what to expect.

I have been a long-time customer (almost 6 years, but that also includes Covid so there was a big break) and have had several stylists during my time. I have been seeing Keely for about 2 years and I have always been extremely satisfied with my service and results. I have really enjoyed developing a rapport with Keely and feel very comfortable with her. I imagine I'll remain a customer for as long as I am in the city!

It was my first time coming to this salon. Bobby the front desk receptionist was so kind and welcoming! I’ve been searching to find a hair stylist here in new orleans that knows how to work with asian hair and Lan did not disappoint!! She is such an amazing hair stylist! Her years of experience and knowledge definitely shows. I can tell she’s really passionate about her work. Loved what she did to my hair and she gave such great advice and tips on hair maintenance!

Terrific local salon. Clean, bright space. Easy to make reservations online. Lots of services provided. I get a trim every three months with Kelsey, who is very sweet.

Lan is amazing.. I've never had someone be so thorough and professional. I love my hair every time I leave there. The staff is great and everything is very clean and organized. Definitely recommend.
