There are dozens of absolutely stunning churches in the new Orleans area, but I haven't found another with such a beautiful liturgy. The extraordinary form this past week nearly brought me to tears it was so uplifting. In either the Latin Mass at 9:15 or the high Novus Ordo Mass at 11, this is the place to be. Great community and wonderful clergy make this a must.

I was sitting in the vestibule before mass, each person that came in we greeted with good mornings a young lady greeted her friend outside with a " Happy Sunday " it struck me in a very nice way. When she came in she asked me where are they hearing confessions I said " right inside those doors" I had a black shirt on so she may have confused me with a priest haha.It was on my bucket list when I found out I was coming to New Orleans.Visit even if it's not your faith

I visited St. Patrick's and it's a beautiful church. One of the oldest parishes in the archdiocese, the building has so much character and symbolism in it.

Beautiful church and lovely service. Very reverential, which I appreciated. As a visitor, I had the feeling that it is a truly engaged and warm congregation. They provided a tour of the church to me, pointing out many figures in the stained glass windows, statues, banners, and paintings. Very educational!

St. Patrick’s Church is absolutely beautiful. The exterior design is really nice and reminds me of the great old churches you may see in small towns in Europe. I found the interior to be even more lovely. High ceilings with beautiful design, stained glass windows and a great ambiance. If you can visit this lovely church, it is well worth seeing.

I love Saint Patrick’s church. It is very beautiful and I go quite a bit every month. One time I even met Kevin James there.

Magnificent choir. I would highly recommend the 9:15 a.m. traditional Latin mass. A profound experience of the fullness of the unadulterated Roman Catholic mass.

Beautiful liturgy, music and welcoming community. Our plans changed unexpectedly and we weren’t able to access our clothes for Mass but we didn’t feel judged or unwelcome. At the same time, the Mass was an obviously formal and reverent time. Great handouts that included the Mass parts and music!

Midnight mass at this church made me realize that "The Handmaid's Tale" is not a fantasy, and I'm not even referring to the fact that the word "handmaid" appeared in the liturgy. It's the uncut hair on all the women wearing lace hijabs, it's the violation of Vatican II conventions that had finally brought the priest and the people closer and made the Catholic church less draconian, it's the realization that this is the kind of charismatic sect that produced the mindset of Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett who was instrumental in the overturning of Roe v. Wade. I happened to be in the neighborhood, so I went in to participate, but I'll be more selective next time I'm in New Orleans.

I love the Latin mass on Sunday’s at 9:15 am! God bless these priests that are keeping the beautiful tradition of the Latin mass. We need it??

We were walking around downtown NOLA and saw the church spires from the distance, and knew we had to pay a visit.St. Patrick’s is absolutely stunning, both inside and outside. I don’t think anyone could argue how other-worldly beautiful stained glass is- and it decorated the side walls at intervals, casting a colorful glow on the aisles of seats. Then, at the main atrium and stage is a large dome painted with various scenes and stained glass in the actual hollow of the dome, and you just feel like you’re walking in a holy place. That may sound cheesy but it’s the best way to describe it.In each corner of the church there are also setups where you can donate and light a candle. So there are several rows of candles burning in each corner, and something about a small open flame just adds to the serene peacefulness and stateliness of the place. We even were able to speak with a custodian working in the building when we came and he was so sweet and sincere. Such a cool visit. If you see the church spires, here in New Orleans or elsewhere, follow my advice and follow them!!

It's a beautiful church and it's been there for years. It's great to have a Church downtown if somebody wants to go to mass during the day or pray.
