We ordered the "Dan" sandwich, a bag of Utz chips, and a bottle of Barq's Zero Sugar root beer. We ended up splitting it, and it was $17. They were extremely friendly and offered to split the sandwich into two baskets for us. This was a lot of sandwich! We loved every bite! The turkey, the bacon, the cheese, the bread! It was all delicious! I would definitely break my travel rule(don't eat at the same place twice on the same trip) and come back here again. Thank you!!!

When you enter the restaurant looks unimpressive, but once you taste their Ruben or Pastrami sandwich, you know this is the place. One of my favorite restaurants in New Orleans.

As your eyes dance over the tantalizing sandwich here, let me share my perspective on this Irish Channel gem. Immerse yourself in the art of efficient service—Philadelphians thrive on directness, so swiftly communicate your desires. This vibrant deli is a hive of activity, with phones incessantly ringing and a line stretching from the door to the counter.Decisiveness is your ally in this lively atmosphere. Now let’s Indulge in the unparalleled joy of their ruben, a culinary masterpiece. Picture this: impeccably toasted bread, steaming hot meat, and cheese that melts and stretches in a delightful dance. The sauerkraut is just enough to tantalize your taste buds without compromising the sandwich's integrity. It's flawless perfection, well worth any brief wait.Your order arrives swiftly from the grill, ensuring a fresh and gratifying experience. In the realm of deli sandwiches, Steins Market & Deli stands as my undisputed go-to. Take my word for it; you must experience this culinary haven. Just remember, swift and clear orders are your ticket to a delightful feast—don't be an indecisive diner in this lively haven of flavors.

Stoped in here today while out exploring the magazine st on the recommendation of the hotel concierge.Excellent atmosphere inside with all the patrons sitting beside eating and chatting. Not commotion all the art on the walls that spoof pop culture. So good. Now to the food. Absolutely loved the sandwich selection. Just see the photos. I wish I had a place like this back home to go get a sandwich like this and this size.So I definitely say stop in if you’re visiting NOLA and want an excellent deli sandwich.Vegetarian options: Has a vegetarian option.

This sandwich shop is legendary, there is no doubt about it. The food is delicious, but I have real issues with their unhygienic practices. There is not a single glove or hairnet in this entire place. Most of these guys have long hair and beards, and they handle all the raw cold cuts and cheeses with their bare fingers. As I waited for my food I watched them making all the sandwiches with their bare hands, going from meats to vegetables without washing, wiping off on dirty rags, digging their fingers into the center of hoagies to fold them over and wrap them to go. It is disgusting. If you don't care about that type of thing, you will enjoy the food.

If you've never had a real NY pastrami sandwich, you might like this place. If you have had the real thing, you know this is hot garbage.

My favorite restaurant on Magazine street, the building and food gives vibes of an old Brooklyn deli shop.
