I came to see the tattoo museum, but it is no longer here. The person who had the items took them with him when he left. The guy working was very friendly and informative.

I wish I could give this shop and my artist 10 stars. From start to finish this was a fantastic experience. My friend and I were visiting both from out of town and she had spoken with Pablo over the phone to arrange our appointment and gave him a general idea of what we wanted. When we met in person he very kindly told us that the pictures we had pulled off of instagram were in fact not koi fish but actually betas 😂 his transparency and honesty truly were so refreshing and helpful, something I appreciate SO fully when someone is about to put art on your body that lasts forever. We decided on a design and placement, with Pablo’s help, and he got to work immediately. Our artist typically does more traditional style tattoos, which was not what we were after, but I mean when I say he executed flawlessly. This was only my second tattoo so I was nervous and light headed at first. With my best friend holding my hand and Pablo’s kindness and professionalism my worries quickly disappeared. I cannot quite articulate how comfortable and relaxed Pablo made me feel. I would travel out of state again to get another tattoo by him.
The state of the shop was another high point. Extremely clean on the inside, very well taken care of, and covered in the coolest original art. When I come back to New Orleans I will definitely have another appointment scheduled with Pablo.

Great work, not just good work!! My friend and I last minute decided to get a tattoo together and called in to see if there was any chance they could fit us in today. Pablo picked up and was so kind and asked questions to see what we had in mind to see if he could fit us in. He was not only one of the kindest humans, but gah so incredibly talented. He was happy to draw up a flier de Los for me on the spot and was so patient and understanding of my 50 questions and making sure I got what I was looking for and would be happy with it today and 20 years from now. His expertise helped ensure I got a way better tattoo than I would’ve gotten if I had had someone less interested in their clients.
His line work is CRISP and so clean. Every line is *perfectly* pulled and he has such a gentle hand. Truly cannot recommend this shop or PABLO more!! Thank you again, Pablo!!

I went in for my first time & met Bobby he set me up for a appointment for tha next evening he tattoo my brother name down tha back of my arm & he did a wonderful job I'm very pleased with his work and will be back soon. He's really a very nice person. Thanks again Angela k.

Adam Hays is absolutely amazing!! He did my first big tattoo this summer and I am constantly getting compliments on the line work and design. I was a little unsure of exactly what I wanted and Adam was super patient and thoughtful throughout the entire process. 10/10 human and artist!!!

I've gotten several tattoos throughout my life and I've always made it a point to never get tattooed by the same artist twice. I love experiencing new artists and new styles. I never wanted to be the person that has "a" tattoo artist. Until I got tattooed by Shelby. Shelby is hands down my FAVORITE tattoo artist I've ever had the pleasure of working with. She's the only artist that's ever tattooed me more than once and I have plans to have her tattoo me many more times in the future!

Quite possibly the most awesome shop I have ever been in! The staff were amazing! The owner and his wife are very laid back and friendly. They took 2 of us as a walk in and you never know how that will turn out. This was awesome! Quality work from all I saw. No complaints at all! The camaraderie of clients and staff was great and the whole shop was interactive and conversation was great. When I return to NOLA this will be my go to shop. Highly recommended!

Unbelievable expertise and 40years of experience, Owner started at original Electric Ladyland/Earhart, then he was Uptown Tattoo, I've drawn my own tattoo just to give Dave Knoellert my ideas and he made it so much better than I could ever imagined, great location plus it's a tattoo museum inside, Call for an appt today, very nice polite courteous folks, Well Recommended I'd send anyone they'll put you at ease he did my first tattoo and my whole family has gone for years and now our grown girls also go and bring friends
