“I didn’t choose Star Auto - my 1997 Ford Ranger threw its timing belt on I-10 as I was in town visiting my daughter and son-in-law who live in New Orleans. As our insurance only pays for a tow to a nearby garage, we had it towed to Star Auto (which I knew nothing about - it was just happened to be the closest garage). I know less than nothing about vehicles - and being stuck where I was, I was in a pretty vulnerable position to be ripped off…I’m in a strange city and don’t have a ton of options. The guy at Star Auto gave me a quote, replaced my timing belt, and then actually charged me LESS than the quote! What mechanic does that??!! A great experience which restored my faith in humanity! If you want an honest mechanic, go see the guys at Star Auto!”
“Mr Chris drove my car with me and got me a recommendation for an issue that turned out to be non-transmission, no time or money lost. A very friendly man and you can tell he enjoys helping people. If i ever do have transmission issues I’ll be back there”
“Purchased a 2020 MDX in April 2024. The car had an issue that was rather difficult to diagnose, but he quickly sent me to a more sophisticated speciishop who diagnosed the problem. BAC fixed it the next day. All I spent was some time. I was so impressed with the way he stuck by his product that I purchased a 2020 RDX in May2024. It’s now mid July and we both love our cars. Btw, I had heard of BAC from a guy I worked with who had purchased 4 cars from him over the years with no problems. They do great work and stand by their work. I can’t praise them any more than that.”

“This guy did some work on a vehicle I had bought for my girl a while back. The transmission was no good at all vehicle stalled a lot etc. I called him he quoted a possible price, he checked the car thoroughly and we moved forward. Let’s just say he did what he did best and I never had to return to him or call him.
Right now I’m not trying to get in touch in touch with him for another vehicle I have before the trans gears failed completely but I can’t get through to his phone on Google.
