When James open the trunk to show me how big it was there was roaches in the truck… then when I dropped the truck off the tall ugly (inside and out) guy Donald Acox tried to double my rental fee. He had VERY POOR costumer service and spoke as if he wanted a confrontation but I didn’t give him any of my blessed energy. He needs retraining BAD & SOON… I call corporate and the refund my money that he tried to take off my card… if you go there please avoid Donald Acox, He’s a tall guy with BAD skin and BAD breath!

Uhaul on Michoud is the worst place I have ever been to they had me there for over an hour and all I went there for was to return a truck they told me I had to pay with my bank card but any other one I'm able to pay cash I don't trust them and feel they were really rude and I think no one should deal with the one in Michoud

I showed up to get a moving truck and no one was there. No access to management or anyone to help. After 30 mins of waiting I called the corporate U-Haul to move my reservation. AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS!

The personal that assisted us in the drop off of the Truck, was phenomenal. He was informative, and explained the whole process to us, we hv no questions. And he went so far as to to time to drive the loaded Uhaul to the locker on site bc it required being backed in. I know it was so close to time for him to get off and go home. But you cldnt tell by the top level of professionalism we received from that Employee at Michoud Uhaul.

I showed up to pick up a truck rental that I had reserved, and they told me they only accept Louisiana driver's licenses. I explained to them that the U-Haul website never said anything about requiring an in state license when I made the reservation. They told me it was a store policy of theirs and refused to let me pick up the rental with an out of state license, and I was out of luck.

Reserved a tow hitch and installation at the location. Money was taken from my account. Get there and was told they didnt have anyone to install my hitch nor did they have all the parts. Spent hours on hold and being transferred. Mind you i drove 45 mins to the location. Now im told i have to wait for someone to call me back to hopefully resole the issue. Was even hung up on by the employee at the Hammond location. So disrespectful. When i was gone go out my way to pick my hitch i already paid for. Im so done with Uhaul.... Never again will i use they services....

This uhaul is horrible it seems like nobody know what they're doing I walked in the door was NEVER acknowledged worker continued on the phone I waited 40 minutes and still haven't been acknowledged another girl can up to register but of course said she couldn't do anything on the register instead of him seeing if I can be quickly helped while waiting to solve their problem he didn't he continued to try and fix what was obviously a problem and going to need more attention I rent uhauls frequently and I promise to never come to this one again NOBODY ever seems to know what their doing now I'm late to work trying to stop and get my money but only late cause he rather sell uhaul trucks then to acknowledge customers as they come in they need better employees here cause they are all horrible didn't explain about the drop box at all took a hour returning truck after calling customer service but hey you live and you learn I'll NEVER spend another dollar with them and they slow a** employees PERIODT! Oh and you have to press a star to leave a review so that's why I have 1 but they deserve NONE!

These people are horrible and no doubt crooks!!! They charged me for another day and only had the Uhaul from 2pm to 7pm. I cked my account and couldn't believe they charged me for another day. I called and was hung up on when they cked my bill, knowing they were wrong. In the call center a female rep said she didn't charge me, my reply was you work for Uhaul right? She hung up on me. I was furious. I hurried up and left to go to the Michoud office. The General Manager name Al in Tate the only one there. Told him what happened. He cked the computer and took a call from someone else as I waited on the verdict. I got upset and said to my son, I guess we are not customers. He eventually got off the ph and called the rep who we dropped the truck off previously. She confirmed we only had it for a few hours. Again he didn't say anything. I said what is the verdict. He said she confirmed you had it for hours. He than said he knew this bc he saw the Uhaul the night we dropped it off. So for 30 mins, I kid you not, he tapped on keys to pro ess a refund and I told him I am a disabled veteran and is in pain. He moved even slower. If you can help it don't rent or rtn a Uhaul from and to them. Not once did this smart mouth General manager/Owner apologize for their error! It will be 2 days b4 we get our money back.I wouldn't have even given them 1 star but had to in order to leave a review.

UHaul as a whole is garbage in my book. The company makes up policies on the fly. My local uhaul closed shop forever and I needed a 6x12 open trailer with ramp to haul large items. I've done this many times in the past so I figured this wouldn't be any different WRONG.

So rude...forgot to put my appliance dolley on the truck. When I got to my move site I had to turn around. Ask the manager to at least compensate for the miles during the return. She flip the script and blamed it on me for not putting the dolley on the truck. WTH. Then I told her this is worst customer service. She said," that is fine....you don't have to come back here again". Who and the f@#k tells a customer that.
