Every time I visit this garden center, I’m extremely disturbed and saddened by the treatment of the rabbit they keep at their register. This rabbit is on display, forced to stay in one position with a bright light shinning down on it all day. The rabbit usually has its eyes closed either due to boredom or the bright light. It’s inhumane and sick. It’s absolutely not cute in any way possible for those that care about animals. They should be ashamed of themselves using this rabbit as a prop. You can see a small cage just behind it, so it no doubt goes in there after customers depart. My only hope is they actually give this animal the ability to stretch its legs once in a blue moon, but it’s doubtful by the controlled nature they keep them in. Do better, let the rabbit be adopted and stop using animals as props.

It is a fairly small place, focused mainly on outdoor plants, though there was one room with some indoor plants. on the pricier side for the indoor plants (not too familiar with outdoor plant pricing). It has a couple different farm animals, a gift shop and a coffee shop which is charming.

I love this nursery. They have a great selection of vegetables, herbs and medicinal plants. They animals look healthy and the gathered eggs ( chicken and duck) are delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff. Oh and great coffee shop shares the building.

If you are a plant and animal lover, this is a place to visit! It is off the beaten path of the main scene in New Orleans, but take a trip and visit and you will not be disappointed! They have several plants you can choose from. They have from a cactus to a sunflower and everything in between! They have a greenhouse that has a huge turtle in its own area, and several different air plants and a cactus that was probably at least 30' tall! It was massive! If you want to meet other animals, they have them everywhere. Outside there are chickens, sheep, and a goat that is not the nicest but is so adorable! (Warning he will buck your hand if you try to touch anything in his area). There are bunny rabbits inside the store that are hilarious and adorable. The one that was out when I was there was very friendly. He allowed me to pick him up. The store also has several odds and ins that you can look at and they are for purchase. The biggest shout out I have to give is to a manager named Hayden that was inside the shop at the time I came. She was super honest, and helpful with my plant selection. If I could give her 100 stars I would because I love honest folks! She gave me advice on some plants that I currently have as well and i was so appreciative of it all! So if you are a beginner or event someone that has several plants but is learning definitely stop by and see her and she will get you on the correct path! All in all this place is amazing and definitely worth a visit, for all the plant lovers!

Very nice selection of holiday plants, and very cute rabbits. Prices seem a bit high, but it is nice to support a local business.

coffee shop is wonderful! nice selection of bakery items and neat antiques!!! They really put love into the coffee shop and outdoor seating and dog play ground -excellent selection of Big decorative pots ! -very nice gift shop with a little bit of everything and unusual items ! === the expensive 100$-1000$+ tropical plants need serious help... i was holding back tears & almost cried seeing the condition several expensive plants are in sad shape! -the tropical plants and rare variegated monstera inside the coffee shop does NOT do well or like "cold" A/C blowing on it or any of the rest of the tropical plants can't have cold AC blowing on them and if i had a picture to post -then no words would be needed ... they need to be trimmed & fertilized and probably repotted with better healthy new soil and taken out of COLD blowing A/C 101% need to be moved or they could die eventually real quickly -they built an area for the most expensive tropical plants outside yet the tropicals need a lot of love & care and serious help quickly especially at the high prices that they are expecting - y'all have to see for yourselves and there could be root rot and crowded roots and bugs and disease that most consumers won't understand or see === -The outdoor trees, hanging baskets, plants, herbs, annuals, perennials, and succulent /cactus area are A-Okay from what i saw for myself there's really cute animals there and i think it's a perfect to take children there to teach them to garden and grow food !!! I purchased a few unique succulents - I like :) (I have 50 yrs experience building and maintaining several gardens for myself, family members and i designed several gardens for other people - i know a little bit about keeping various trees and plants alive and happy)
