“Our son just got married here and it couldn’t have been any more beautiful and fun!! Everything was perfect. The owner and his wife were so nice! The food was fabulous as was the attentive wait staff! Would highly recommend this gorgeous wedding venue! Thank you for making Adam and Nicole’s wedding so special!!!”
“Wonderful atmosphere, clean and spacious facilities including restrooms, warm & friendly staff & players, skilled pickleball games, and extremely welcoming people are a short list of excellent things to name about this facility. If I were to split hairs and find something needing improvement, I would say that there could be even more courts, and that it’s difficult to get into(because it’s an awesome place to socialize and play pickleball). However, once one secures a spot, get ready to experience friendliness and great competition! I got the pleasure of being introduced to the owner, Renee, and her husband, both of whom were outgoing, friendly, and welcoming! I loved my experience here, and even made new friends! Thank you Exchange for making the best of the unfortunate weather situation, and providing an enjoyable activity in spite of it! There is nothing that replaces the friendliness of good people, and I’m glad to see that it’s alive and well here at The Exchange in NOLA!”
“Saw The Dead South with opener Parker Millsap. Great venue, great show.
I've seen many shows at San Francisco's Fillmore Auditorium and was happy to see so many familiar touches. From the open floor to the chandeliers to the free posters and red apples. Venue is well laid-out. Excellent bathrooms, merch location, friendly and helpful staff.”
“It was nice wedding set up, but the dance floor was uneven I spent the whole night worrying if I would trip and fall like walking down the street in New Orleans or where I live in SF the sidewalks are uneven. The mansion is beautiful as well as the grounds”
“Really great tour by our guide Carolyn (a volunteer who works Mondays). Not only do you learn about the house but you also learn a lot about the history of New Orleans. The history discussion starts with the land the house sits on being granted to 2 sisters by the King of France and rolls forward from there. Very interesting and highly recommended. Tours begin on the hour.”
“Its exterior beguiles the history it holds ! Unfortunately I didn't get to hear any music but there is a little shop with some memorabilia and a few postcards and souvenirs.”
“The auditorium was great. Very spacious and we enjoyed ourselves.
Just make sure to put Algiers Auditorium in GOS because address will bring you to the gated apartments on other end of street”
“My wife and I held our wedding ceremony and reception at the inn and stayed the weekend with our wedding party and family. It was a perfect weekend. The entire inn was beautiful, the breakfast each day was delicious, and we truly couldn't be happier with how the inn played into our celebration. The all-in-one wedding package made planning our wedding easy and as stress-free as weddings can be. We would do it again in a heartbeat.”
“Irish whiskey selection is awesome and it s chill environment. I spoke to Mike the manager who was working that day and he was a chill dude with great recommendations. Cassandra is one of the employees who was hanging out on the off day which speaks highly to the establishment when an employee wants to be there on their day off.”
“Great place to chill and have some fun with your partner or with friends. The best part for me was the no smoking inside! The drinks were also pretty good. The bartender was friendly and offered great service.”
“They put grown folks out at 12 when kids are terrorizing the city all hrs of the day and night. It's a casino and should at lease be open later at lease till 2am. Than to have numerous machines that's been out of service for months to still be in there is ridiculous let alone numerous machines with buttons broken don't work or u can't play certain amount do to buttons been broke! The board of commission needs to start inspecting these casinos ? here in New Orleans and surrounding parishes. Folks go to these places to try and win taking chances gambling and for these machines to not be operating right or fix is a slap in the face to gamblers. What rights does gamblers have beside not revisiting the place? The buttons jam don't press etc it's dead wrong. They shouldn't be in the casino if their not working! Remove and replace with something else.”
“Paradigm Gardens is a dreamy oasis of a wedding venue (complete with the friendliest pygmy goats). From the moment my partner and I stepped foot into this picturesque garden, we knew it was the place where we wanted to say "I do".
The garden itself is simply breathtaking. Lush greenery, vibrant blooms, and winding pathways created the perfect backdrop for our special day. The ambiance was nothing short of magical, setting the stage for an unforgettable celebration.
But what truly sets Paradigm Gardens apart is its exceptional team. Karen, our salesperson, was an absolute gem. She guided us through every step of the planning process with patience and expertise, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. Her dedication made us feel confident and supported throughout our journey.
Chef Pat deserves special recognition for the incredible culinary experience he provided. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, a true feast for the senses. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the menu, and neither could we.
The wedding coordinator, Sarah, was awesome. She ensured that everything ran smoothly, allowing us to relax and fully immerse ourselves in the moment.
One of the most touching gestures was the bouquet of flowers that Karen crafted for me from the garden itself. It was a personalized touch that added an extra layer of meaning to our day.
In summary, Paradigm Gardens exceeded our expectations in every way possible. If you're searching for a wedding venue that combines natural beauty, incredible food, and exceptional service, look no further. Our heartfelt thanks to the entire team for making our wedding day truly unforgettable.”

“Cool bar and restaurant in this fabulous hotel. We asked the manager for a quick tour, and we were delighted with the experience... Very cool to see an inside glimpse of the private patio for hotel guests, and unique features in each boutique room... So much to explore next time!”
“I recently hosted a seated sushi dinner Halloween party for 40 friends at Fire House Loft, and it was beyond incredible! From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was unmatched. The space's unique architecture blended seamlessly with our Halloween decor, creating a spooky-chic vibe that wowed everyone.
The layout was perfect for a seated dinner, with ample room for our sushi chef to work his magic and for guests to mingle comfortably. The team at Fire House Loft went above and beyond to ensure every detail was flawless, from the table setup to the lighting that added an extra touch of elegance.
Everyone couldn’t stop raving about the venue. It struck the perfect balance of being intimate yet spacious. Fire House Loft truly made the evening unforgettable, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking to host a one-of-a-kind event. We’re already brainstorming our next gathering here!
Thank you for making our Halloween party so special!”
“Spent a Saturday night on NOLA with the family. Good location, right on Canal St. and just a couple of blocks from Bourbon St. Had a couple of drinks at the hotel bar and they were delicious. Would definitely stay next time in NOLA.”
“The staff is excellent and were very helpful, especially the lady who was at the front desk in the mornings whose name started with an M. I think it was Monica.
Parking is $50.60 and charged seperately but that seems pretty standard for New Orleans and is actually an ok deal if the nearby lots are charging event rates.
Only deducted a star because the fridge is tiny and there's no microwave in the room. The only microwave on the entire floor is in the laundry room.”
“Great place to take your little ones over summer break. Not busy during weekday mornings. Staff very knowledgeable about policies and nice. Nice cold AC when you’re tired of the zoo. Haven’t tried the coffee but it’s so nice to have the option. I swear it’s so relaxing I could bring my laptop and get an hour of work done while the kids play right in front of me.”
“I went there for a recital it was nice and clean but the parking lot was flooded so we had to park in the neighborhood by the treme center and the security that they use ..any items that you leave with them like pepperspray they will take it and keep it for themselves..that's stealing babeee.. what kind of security company they hired!”
“Words cannot express how thankful we are for Latrobe’s and how AMAZING our wedding was. 6 months before our wedding, our original venue had to cancel on us and we were left scrambling. We reached out to Latrobe’s and they helped us out tremendously and worked out any problems we had. Rylan answered our many many phone calls and questions, and was so incredibly helpful. On the day of the wedding, everything was perfect. I had no stress at all and all the employees were INCREDIBLE. They always made sure we were okay, had food, and a drink in our hands! I’m so thankful our original venue canceled because we got to have the wedding of our dreams at Latrobe’s. Thank you thank you thank you!!!”
“Never had an experience quite like this. On paper, the idea is you pay 20 bucks to tour the home with her to scout it as a wedding (or party) venue; but do not be deceived: this is a house of centuries of history, as well as a lifetime of Bonnie's own personal stories. From family stories of GREAT intrigue, to a showcase of decades worth of passion projects in the dollhouses, someone like me felt as though I was peering into a time and culture I'd never be exposed to otherwise. For 20 bucks, I'd say a lasting impression is worth it.”
“I had my wedding here in October 2023 and I could not have asked for a more perfect day. At first, I thought this venue was to big but even for my 50 person wedding it was absolutely perfect! I had my bridal party and family stay in the cottages which had ample space and everything you need. I really loved that we were in a gated off property to ourselves. The day of, the weather could not have been more perfect. It was such stress free and relaxing time getting ready while everyone else was hard at work getting everything prepared. The wedding itself was perfect. We had the ceremony inside the main house which was so intimate and romantic. I asked for mix and matched chairs to just add a bit of character to the ceremony and it looked so great. Then the reception was outside, which bc the weather was so nice it was just so fun to be outdoors under the oak trees with the twinkling lights. We ate and drank and danced the night away and when the reception was over we continued the fun at the bar they have! The next day we did a brunch with my bridal party and family. This really is such a special place. Erin and her sister are super responsive, flexible and really able to do so much! I am so so grateful to them and the rest of their team for making our special day everything we dreamed of and more!”
“This is a gorgeous event venue..Its clean affordable..Ms. White is awesome...I was a bit star struck at how nice this venue is..Definitely one to place on your list..”
“I just have my husband a 50th birthday party and everything was amazing down to the whole staff and we even payed for another hour because we was having a time…me & my husband want to say thank y’all for everything..go book with Kmm everything was perfect five stars and more”
“Cookie the bartender was awesome. I was alone and from out of town and she made me feel very welcome when I was obviously out of place. Great vibe.
Beware, there are items being smoked inside (everything but cigarettes) so know that your clothes will smell the next day. Or something to consider if you have asthma.
Huge outdoor space with awesome smelling food.
30+ year olds only.”
“Once again people recommended this place for its food it was okay it was good I've had better service was good the people were friendly the place was beautiful if you're into that sort of thing definitely start by besides we look for a place every now and then to get dressed out of our regular clothes and look nice for occasion”

“We had a picnic for greatgrandsons first birthday. Very crowded on a Saturday. Better on weekday. City park is much nicer than years ago. Parking is available too.”
“This was so much fun for my group and me! We went for my bachelorette, and the team was great. When I reached out for booking I was given such clear information it made it very easy to plan. Communicating with Sharon was so simple and she was very responsive throughout the whole planning process. Once we arrived, we were shown to our private room with AC and a private restroom and our own already decorated balcony. We were able to just walk in and enjoy the experience. I would definitely book again!”
“Really interesting tour of the first licensed pharmacy in the US. Our tour guide Grace told an intriguing and informative story of early pharmacy and New Orleans history.”
