Lane’sha, the manager, was a joy to work with. I was trying to transfer my phone number between carriers and was stuck in limbo. She not only took the time to help me with my issue, but coordinated the solution with corporate, and filled the time in between with pleasant conversation and pictures of her pet turtles. Lane’sha turned a tech issue that was my blocking my work (which is dependent on my phone) into a really pleasant morning.

The worst ever ! Do not go here - they seem like the know what they are doing so I was confident in their helping me - I had no idea delvin (works there) was bluffing - he did not know what he was doing - the first month I got my bill I thought maybe it had been processed through the system and I would get a credit. The second month I got my bill I called and they told me that it was all going to be OK and it would process as a credit. The third month I go in there and it turns out they never did put me on the proper plan - they told me I was on the plan, but I was automatically kicked off because they messed it up. They did not own the mess they created and caused my phone bill to be way more expensive than I ever wanted it to be. There is no recourse. Do not ever use Russell cellular on Napoleon Avenue and Clauborne Ave in New Orleans

Lane’sha was absolutely wonderful! My phone wasn’t functioning properly, and she was able to help me troubleshoot until she fixed it completely. I am so thankful for her taking the time to figure out what was wrong, and she was very friendly. I will go back to her with any future issues.

I had such a great experience here. On vacation in NOLA my iPhone’s SIM card stopped working for a day. I went to the Verizon store and the store manager Lanesha Warren was so helpful! She tried a couple things and when they didn’t work, she rang up the Verizon technical support with a recommendation of how they could help me and with support technician, Sylvia, we got everything up and running. All in all a great customer service experience! Thanks Lanesha!

I am not exaggerating when I say this was the worst customer service experience I have ever had.The store only had one employee, Laquanda (or a similar name), who kept the door locked and took her time getting up to unlock it. We knew right away she wasn't going to be helpful. We told her that my husband needed to order a new phone because the one he received in the mail wasn't packaged properly. She immediately said she couldn't help because we were not at a "corporate location". We then told her I needed to change phone lines to join with my husband, and upgrade my phone. She said I needed to call customer service to change my line and that she couldn't help me. I told her I would call while in the store and then upgrade, to which she stated "oh, you'll be on the phone at least an hour". I responded and said I'll try anyway. She then said that if I wanted to upgrade to an iPhone they had "no phones" right now and couldn't upgrade me. At that point, with literally no help from the employee, my husband and I looked at each other and said we would go somewhere else. I've seriously never met a lazier person in my entire life. What a joke. I would encourage Verizon to look into the staffing at this location.

Mya sold me a phone and then was unable to return it the next day when I was within all return policies practices. She said she didn’t have the training to know how to make a phone return. When I got a sister company to help, she refused to accept the help. All of her managers were conveniently unavailable both times I came in. We arranged a time later in the day when I could return with a manager present before my flight out of NOLA, and instead of being there, she went on break for the rest of her shift. Now I’m stuck with a $900 phone I can’t use. She never apologized or expressed any willingness to find answers to make my return happen. I hate writing low reviews, but I am at a loss for her level of customer service, lack of training/knowledge, and apathy.

Sylvantria Did a great job on getting me set up on my new phone and took her time on explaining the options to me. She was personable and professional. I only wish the store had a better stock of phones.

Sly (unsure if that's how you spell her name) was a literal ANGEL to me when my brand new iPhone 13 was stolen in New Orleans over the weekend. I actually have Spectrum who uses Verizon's towers, and since I was there on vacation thought I'd stop in and try to see if Verizon could help me since the nearest Spectrum store was all the way in Slidell. End all be all, I couldn't get a phone through Verizon, but she tried probably every thing she could to help me, INCLUDING offering to pay for an Uber from her personal Uber account to get me to another store to buy a phone. I cried to her, she was so patient and sweet to me, when she could've easily turned me away and told me there was nothing she could do since Verizon isn't my carrier. We tried multiple options, and I ended up paying for a prepaid phone in the meantime until I could get home and get a replacement. Her efforts did not go unnoticed or under-appreciated - Sly I hope you get this - you're the best.

I unknowingly called the call center for this company looking for a new popular phone. Pamela, on my first, call blew me away with her customer service. She went the extra mile to do the legwork that most companies make you do ie calling stores to check availability. I had to call a second time, hoping to get Pamela again, but I didnt. ? I got, Kaylee. The customer service was just as great. She called other stores for me and got me everything I needed. 2 in a row. Not a fluke. I went to the store to get my new phone and BAM!, that great customer service strikes again. I could not be happier with this companies hiring, training and retaining process.
