“As a pet professional, boarding and working with dogs for over 20 years, I've been to MANY veterinary offices.Over the holidays one of our senior boarders seemed like she was shaking her head a little more than usual and her ears were tender to the touch. I immediately contacted the owner and they sent me here, to CSVH. I'd never been to CSVH but obviously didn't hesitate to call and explain the situation.They saw us immediately, completely understood the situation and were incredibly accommodating. Their waiting room was clean and well cared for, the staff up front were friendly and fun to chat with while we waited. We were shown to our room pretty quickly (especially considering this was an emergency appointment so we didn't originally have an appointment scheduled that day). They were so gentle and AWESOME with our old gal and got us taken care of with the highest priority and service. Not all vets do that. I know from experience.The old gal is feeling better now, fully recuperated, and back home with her people. It was great to have her with us, even if there were a few bumps along the way. ???”

It took a few days, but in my heart I felt that the advice and options laid out for me were honest and diverse. Binx never handled the vet well, but she did good with the team at TCP and though I balled my eyes out at their facility, they took time to comfort me and have made follow ups feel personal and professional. I received a handwritten card this week in the mail that moved me, as it was a first experience to have with a Vet office. I miss her terribly, but the card helped me feel a little more at peace. Sometimes, it’s the little things that make all the difference to some. I am grateful.”

“This clinic is THE clinic to bring your animal. I am beyond grateful and completely over the moon at how easily Dr. Diggs and everyone else there made our first litter experience such a great one, especially on such short notice! And when I say short notice, I mean we went in for Pebbles’s (our Frenchie) ultrasound one morning, they ran a reverse progesterone test afterwards to find her birthing date, and then they were able to fit her in for her C-Section the following morning! Dr. Diggs was spot on at how many puppies she was going to have and the date she was ready for her C-Section. All her puppies are as healthy as can be and she herself is healing quickly, getting her energy back, and now has her appetite again. She’s back to her silly chunky self. We will continue to bring our dogs here for the special services they provide as we live in Houma and none of the vets around us provide Ultrasounds or scheduled C-Sections without spaying afterwards. Also, their prices are phenomenal! Words can not express how happy I am with All Star Animal Clinic! Thank y’all so much again!”

“What has happened…..My pets have always been under the care of MSAH. Dr. Renee is incredible and shows compassion regarding our animals. Melinda is the sharpest, well honed office manager my family has ever dealt with. That’s good on the Vet service and spot on with staff like Melinda. However, the Lakeview MSAH is extremely busy, especially since grooming terminated at the Metairie location. Things have changed in the last couple of years. The Lakeview MSAH is clearly bombarded with new patients and new pets to be groomed. It’s a shame to enter any place and see the staff burdened with an overload of people and pets. I’m disappointed that MSAH can’t provide enough employees to keep this gem of a Vet going. I know the economy is in despair currently, but people still need pet care. This type of business is not impacted by our distorted economy. That said, bring on the employees MSAH central. Don’t let a good location be in need of assistance. I look forward to see and feel less stress when MSAH central fixes this problem. ?”

“I love Dr. Charlot so much. I have been to a few other vets in the city--usually whatever office is closest to where I live, but wanted to get a second opinion after my old vet was going to make us do sedation and xrays to start arthritis treatment for a short course of NSAIDs. Dr. Charlot has been the most thorough, seems the most evidence based, and is so caring. He or his staff always call or email to check in on my little old pitbull after appointments, the front of house staff and back of house staff clearly love animals and what they do, and its pretty easy to get in when you need to be seen. Highly recommend.”

“I moved and needed a new vet. I was impressed with how quickly they got my cat in for a checkup. On the first visit Dr Theresa found a polyp deep in my cats ear that no other vet had ever found. She performed a surgery to remove it, and for the first time in years he has stopped scratching endlessly on that ear. I have seen both Dr Theresa and Dr Amy, they are both top notch and provided excellent care for my senior boy! Office is very clean and welcoming and the cost is reasonable, they tell you up front what the charges will run.”

They’ve cared for our rescue for about seven years now, during which time they’ve diagnosed and treated an uncommon allergy issue that another vet could not, a collapsed trachea and dental issues. Costs are transparent and reasonable. The facility is clean and accessible. Appointment/in-person wait times are generally short. Though call wait times can often be a bit long, administratively, the clinic is run very well.”

“I had to get my three male cats spayed/neutered and they were the only clinics that were available right away. The owner worked welled with me and my partner even gave my partner syringed and iodine for his hands because he was bit by the cat. They gave our cats rabies shots so that we would be qualified for the Fix-A-Feline program, they even cut their nails. Our total came up to $270 to $25 for the extra carrier they gave us. They were wonderful, understanding, and one time, caring, and good at communication. I highly recommend to anyone who need their babies ?taken care of.”
