They are friendly and easy to adopt from. Only complaint is the place reeks of dog pee.Like. Just hire one extra person to clean, because it can be suffocating.

Buddy rescued me when he was at the LSPCA. He's one of the family at almost 7 years old he has never been ill. The staff is great, they need help. Can you foster a pet or two for a while?

I found a cat that was not in good shape. I dropped her off here. Regardless of what decision was ultimately taken to help her the SPCA is a very impressive building and it’s clean and the staff were helpful on arrival. To know that it’s there is very appreciated.
The mission of the Louisiana SPCA is to promote, protect and advance the well-being of Louisiana's companion animals. We are the oldest and most comprehensive animal welfare organization in the state, and we impact more than 73,000 homeless and companion animals each year. We are committed to serving the needs of the people and animals in our community.
